Equity Investment Group (219-426-4704) leased 60,622 sq.ft. to Stop & Shop Supermarket at Holyoke Shopping Center, a 223,000 sq.ft. shopping center located in Holyoke, MA; 34,500 sq.ft. to Big Lots at Dixie Village, a 222,528 sq.ft. shopping center located in Gastonia, NC; 19,856 sq.ft. also to Big Lots at Roebuck Plaza, a 61,820 sq.ft. shopping center in Birmingham, AL; 11,487 sq.ft. to Dollar Tree at Northeast Plaza, a 431,089 sq.ft. shopping center located in Atlanta, GA; and 10,800 sq.ft. to Books-A-Million at Sun Plaza, a 166,340 sq.ft. shopping center located in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
Colonial Properties Trust (407-677-1112) leased an anchor space at the 516,000 sq.ft. Colonial Promenade Tutweiler Farm in Birmingham, AL to Academy Sports and Outdoors. The 59-acre project, located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 59 and Interstate 459, is scheduled to open during Fall of 2000.

Glimcher Group (412-765-8079) leased 2,000 sq.ft. to Dollar Discount at Monroeville Plaza in Pittsburgh, PA. The shopping center is anchored by Ames and Giant Eagle.
Kovac Commercial, Inc. (916-920-8244) leased 33,000 sq.ft. to Ross Dress for Less at Westlane Shopping Center on West Kettleman Lane in Lodi, CA.
Mid-America Real Estate Group (630-954-7300) leased 54,456 sq.ft. to Cub Foods, 30, 857 sq.ft. to Marshalls, 12,096 sq.ft. to Ballys Total Fitness, 8,646 sq.ft. to Super Trak and 3,300 sq.ft. to Blockbuster Video, each at Chatham Ridge, a 175,730 sq.ft. shopping center in Chicago, IL. The company also has lease commitments from Home Depot and Sony Cineplex Odeon for space adjacent to the shopping center.

Center Trust (310-546-4520) leased 35,655 sq.ft. to 24 Hour Fitness at the Medford Center in Medford, OR. 24 Hour Fitness joins Safeway, Rite Aid, Circuit City and Tinseltown Theatres.
Excess Space Disposition (516-365-6400) subleased 13,623 sq.ft. to Dollar General; 10,360 sq.ft. to Factory Direct TV and Appliance; two spaces of 10,365 sq.ft. to Pet Supermarket and Bealls Outlet Stores; and 8,640 sq.ft. to Dollar Tree, each on behalf of Eckerd Corporation; 55,370 sq.ft. to Bed, Bath & Beyond on behalf of Kroger; 10,500 sq.ft. to Bills Dollar Store on behalf of CVS; and 8,925 sq.ft. to Furniture Direct to Go, Inc. on behalf of Hancock Fabrics.
