Lease Signings

 

Big Bear Corporation (619-280-2600) leased approximately 1,200 sq.ft. to Great Clips in Oceanside, CA. The lease runs five years and was signed for a consideration of $118,000.

 

Sugarland Properties Incorporated (281-242-2000) leased 6,114 sq.ft. to Gateway Companies, Inc. at Sweetwater Shopping Center in Sugar Land, TX. The 130,000 sq.ft. shopping center is anchored by Kroger and Walgreens.

 

SiteWorks National (410-309-9450) leased 20,000 sq.ft. to Kitchen Etc. in Sterling, MD; and two spaces of 25,000 sq.ft. to Hearth USA, one in Rockville, MD and one in Springfield, VA.

 

Garrick-Aug Associates Store Leasing, Inc. (212-557-9090) leased 2,125 sq.ft. to Nest, a home furnishings retailer, on Broadway at West 94th Street in New York, NY. Nest joins Sprint Sports (1,500 sq.ft.) and Gotham Liquors (1,600 sq.ft.), each of which signed 10-year leases. The company also leased 800 sq.ft. to Selima Optique on Prince Street in New York, NY.

 

Edgemark, LLC (630-472-1010) brokered the leasing of 84,000 sq.ft. to Ames at Dolton Plaza in Dolton, IL; 3,190 sq.ft. to BedMart at Southport Shopping Center in Arlington Heights, IL; 2,800 sq.ft. to AT & T Wireless at the intersection of State and Randolph in Chicago, IL; 1,400 sq.ft. to Chicago Street Pizza at McHenry Commons in McHenry, IL; and 1,200 sq.ft. to Hair Cuttery at Merrill Point in Merriville, IN.

 

Boyd Page (713-877-8400) brokered the leasing of 15,000 sq.ft. to Conxions 2000, a nightclub, at Almeda Mall in Houston, TX. The space was formerly occupied by another nightclub, El Dorado Ranch; 9,000 sq.ft. to Famous Footwear at the Portofino Shopping Center on Interstate 45 in Shenandoah, TX; 4,500 sq.ft. to Soundwaves in the Gulf Freeway Shopping Center at the intersection of Interstate 45 and Monroe in the metropolitan Houston, TX area; and 3,472 to Britesmile, Inc. at The Galleria II on Westheimer in Houston, TX.

 

The Cafaro Company (330-747-2661) leased 2,392 sq.ft. to The Picture People at Millcreek Mall in Erie, PA; 802 sq.ft. to Mrs. Fields or Great American Cookie at Governor’s Square Mall in Clarksville, TN.

 

Harvey Lindsey Commercial Real Estate (757-640-8700) leased 11,200 sq.ft. to Dollar Tree at Kemps River Crossing in Virginia Beach, VA. A July 2000 opening is planned.

 

Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC (212-599-3700) leased 20,000 sq.ft. to Ethan Allen on West End Avenue in New York, NY.

 

Equity Investment Group (219-426-4704) leased 60,622 sq.ft. to Stop & Shop Supermarket at Holyoke Plaza Shopping Center, a 223,810 sq.ft. shopping center in Holyoke, MA; 34,500 sq.ft. to Big Lots at Dixie Village Shopping Center, a 222,528 sq.ft. shopping center in Gastonia, NC; 19,856 sq.ft. to Big Lots Furniture at Roebuck Plaza Shopping Center, a 61,820 sq.ft. shopping center in Birmingham, AL; 11,487 sq.ft. to Dollar Tree at Northeast Plaza Shopping Center, a 431,089 sq.ft. shopping center in Atlanta, GA; 10,800 sq.ft. to Books-A-Million at Sun Plaza Shopping Center, a 166,340 sq.ft. shopping center in Fort Walton Beach, FL; 10,476 sq.ft. to Dollar General at Parkway Plaza Shopping Center, a 286,485 sq.ft. shopping center in Winston-Salem, NC; 7,800 sq.ft. to Family Dollar at Village Mall Shopping Center, a 98,457 sq.ft. shopping center in Great Bend, KS; and 3,938 sq.ft. to Colortyme at Green Acres Plaza, a 271,106 sq.ft. shopping center in Saginaw, MI.
