Lease Signings

R.E.D. Capital Development (816-531-8100) signed leases with Kohl’s, Lowe’s and Michaels at the SummitWoods, a 735,000 sq.ft. center scheduled to open during the first quarter of 2002 in Kansas City, MO.

Inland Commercial Property Management, Inc. (630-954-5656) leased 1,600 sq.ft. to Radio Shack at Cobbler Crossing in Elgin, IL; 1,400 sq.ft. to Cigarettes Cheaper at the Riverplace Shopping Center in Noblesville, IN; 3,190 sq.ft. to Bedmart at the Southpoint Shopping Center in Arlington Heights, IL; 1,251 sq.ft to Great Clips in the Shoppes at Mill Creek in Palos Park, IL; 2,350 sq.ft. to Beds-Beds-Beds at the Park Center Plaza in Tinley Park, IL and 10,157 sq.ft. to Discovery Clothing in Schaumburg, IL and 2,810 sq.ft. to Recording For the Blind at the Eagle Crest Shopping Center in Naperville, IL and 5,475 sq.ft. to American Mattress in Orland Park, IL.

Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (757-497-2113) leased 4,200 sq.ft. to Atlanta Bread Company at Stuart Square in Jupiter, FL. Atlanta Bread Company operates 72 locations nationwide serving baked goods, soup and sandwiches. The brokerage firm also leased a 9,000 sq.ft. freestanding building to Deco Denim on Biscayne Boulevard in Miami, FL. Deco Denim operates seven stores in South FL and specializes in denim clothing for men and women.

The Goldstein Group (201-703-9700) leased the former 18,500 sq.ft. Just For Feet location at Lenox Plaza on Route 46 in West Paterson, NJ to Harrows.

Equity Investment Group (404-364-2984) leased 9,033 sq.ft. to Pier 1 Imports for a 10-year term at Elkhart Market Centre, a 349,115 sq.ft. center in Goshen, IN and 2,100 sq.ft. to Tower Wireless for a two-year term at Karl Plaza Shopping Center in Columbus, OH.

Flocke & Avoyer (619-280-2600) leased 2,000 sq.ft. to Anthony’s Fish Grotto at the Rio Vista Shopping Center in San Diego, CA. The 10-year lease has an aggregate rent of $730,567 and the tenant expects to open Fall of this year.

The Nutrition Club (412-490-2929) signed leases for stores at the Nittany Mall in State College, PA; River Valley Mall in Lancaster, OH and at the Midway Mall in Elyria, OH. The company plans to open 40 franchised and 10 company-owned stores in PA, OH, NJ, NY, MD, WV and VA this year.
