DJM Asset Management (631-752-1100) has been retained as exclusive real estate advisor to dispose of four leases in the Levitz Furniture Chapter 11 bankruptcy case. The four leases are for freestanding facilities ranging in size from 33,840 sq.ft. to 173,057 sq.ft. in Danvers, MA, Westborough MA, Nashua, NH and Reading, PA.

 

Robert K. Futterman & Associates (212-599-3700) has signed two exclusive agreements. The firm will be the leasing agent for the 42,900 sq.ft. 360 Madison Avenue center. The space is located in a 25-story office building with 200 ft. of corner frontage on Madison Avenue and 45th Street. The company will also take on the 70,000 sq.ft. site of the former Toys ‘R’ Us at Herald Center. The 1293 Broadway location offers 100 ft. of frontage on the northwest corner of Broadway and 33th Street.

 

Urban Shopping Centers Inc. (312-915-2000) has the exclusive management contract for Tanglewood Mall, a shopping center located in Roanoke, VA. The company was hired to reverse the recent trend of retailers leaving the mall. In recent months, The Limited, New Mountain Mercantile, Great American Cookie Co., Davidson’s and Clearance World have all left the center.

 

NAI Isaac Commercial Properties, Inc. (859-224-2000) has the exclusive leasing and management contract for Brighton Park Shopping Center located in Lexington, KY. The company brokered the sale of two outparcels, one of .8 of an acre for Fifth Third Bank and one of .5 of an acre to Penn Station restaurant.

 

Sterling Management (504-898-2022) was awarded the exclusive management agreement for the 12,000 sq.ft. Gap/Gap Kids property located in a freestanding facility on Northshore Boulevard in Slidell, LA.

 

New England Retail Properties (860-529-9000) has garnered the exclusive brokerage contract for the former Corny T’s Restaurant and Jazz Club, a 24,000 sq.ft. facility located across from the federal courthouse in Hartford, CT. The space originally housed Spencer’s and is part of the Linden Condominiums development. The company also received the exclusive leasing contract for Freshwater Commons, a 141,575 sq.ft. shopping center located at the intersection of Route 190 and Palomba Drive, just off of Interstate 91 in Enfield, CT. Anchors include Big Y Supermarket, Frank’s Nursery, Rite Aid, Fashion Bug and Hollywood Video.
