ChainLinks Retail Advisors, Inc. (703-821-3994) named Michael Wheat director of national accounts. Wheat will be responsible for all aspects of new business generation for ChainLinks including managing existing business and pursuing new clients. Prior to joining the company, Wheat was vice president of national retail services for Trammell Crow Company in Dallas, TX. The company announced a joint venture with DJM Realty Services, a division of Gordon Brothers Group. The merger will provide DJM greater nationwide access through ChainLinks 50 nationwide offices. ChainLinks picks up added financial options for dispositions, mergers, equity and debt financing.

 

CB Richard Ellis (312-861-7800) promoted Gilbert Fitzgerald to first vice president from vice president in its retail services group. Fitzgerald has been a member of the exclusive retail tenant representation team at the downtown Chicago, IL company office since 1985.

 

Coreland Carson (714-573-7780) named Lisa Forster director of leasing. In her new position, Forster will head up the leasing operation for the company’s leasing and sales assignments in Los Angeles under the direction of vice president of sales Steven Hogberg. Prior to joining the firm, Forster held leasing and management positions at Wilson Commercial Real Estate and Grubb & Ellis retail properties division.

 

Developers Diversified Realty (216-755-5450) hired Daniel Drobnic as a specialty leasing manager for the western U.S. His responsibilities will include generating non-traditional (ancillary) revenue for DDR’s west coast properties including the Burnham Pacific Portfolio. Prior to joining DDR, Drobnic was employed by National City Bank Corporation. The company also appointed Joseph Chura and Lawrence Ogrinc project managers in the company’s tenant coordination department, where they will oversee tenant new construction and expansions in DDR’s shopping centers. Chura came to the company from KA Inc. Architecture where he served as job captain, project architect and project manager. Ogrinc joins the firm from Carlton Cards Retail, Inc. where he served as construction manager.

 

Colliers International/Turley Martin Tucker (314-746-0371) named Michael Hanrahan vice president in the investment division of the firm.

 

Famous Dave’s (612-294-1300) named Mark Bartholomay vice president of business development responsible for developing the company’s franchising program, in addition to researching business opportunities, locating venues for increased distribution and establishing viable new outlets for the company’s products. Bartholomay comes to the company from Rainforest Cafe, where he served as senior vice president of international development and operations.

 

Boston Properties (925-631-7971) hired Peter Back as vice president--construction for the firm’s San Francisco, CA office. Prior to joining the firm, Back was the director of construction management for SwigBurris Equities of California, LLC. Back’s responsibilities will include management of all construction activity throughout the Embarcadero Center, as well as new development projects for the San Francisco office.

 

Clearview Cinemas (973-377-4646) named Steven Ventor vice president, facilities and construction. Ventor will be responsible for overseeing facilities management and maintenance operations and provide supervision on all construction projects. Most recently, he was the owner of S. Ventor Consulting, L.L.C.

 

LaSalle Bank N.A. (312-904-2000) named Kevin Baker vice president of real estate lending for its St. Louis, MO office. In this role, Baker will manage portfolio and business development for the company’s MO-based customers. Baker comes to the company from First National Bank of St. Louis where he most recently served as senior vice president.
