Welco Realty, Inc. plans to open Target Shopping Center, a 400,000 sq.ft. Target-anchored center located at the confluence of Park Place, Mill Creek Drive and the NJ Turnpike in Secaucus, NJ. Up to 160,000 sq.ft. is available. A 2001 opening is planned. The company plans to open Gateway Shopping Center, a 450,000 sq.ft. power center located on Route One just north of Route 130 in North Brunswick, NJ. Up to 200,000 sq.ft. is available. Two major anchors of over 100,000 sq.ft. each have signed on. Bed Bath & Beyond, Barnes & Noble and Fashion Center operate nearby. The company also plans to develop Promenade at Edgewater, a 200,000 sq.ft. lifestyle center locate at the intersection of Gorge and River Roads in Edgewater, NJ. The center will be anchored by The Gap, Banana Republic and Ann Taylor. Other tenants will include The Limited, Eddie Bauer and Victoria’s Secret.

D & P Associates is expanding by 5,000 sq.ft. the King of Prussia Center, a 48,000 sq.ft. strip center on six acres located on Route 202 at Henderson Road in King of Prussia, PA. The 5,000 sq.ft. addition is available. Anchors include Sam Ash Music and Men’s Wearhouse while other tenants include Workbench Furniture and Leather Center. Demographics show a population of 200,000 residing within five miles earning $82,000 as the average income. The daily traffic count is 40,000 cars.
