Keen Realty Consultants Inc. (516-482-2700) has been retained by Garden Botanika to sell its retail leases at a bankruptcy auction. Available to users and investors are 36 retail sites located in 20 states, with the largest concentration in NJ. The stores range in size from 900 sq.ft. to 2,250 sq.ft.

Cineplex Odeon Corp. (416-323-6729) has appointed Joel Kwinter to dispose of its excess movie theater sites throughout North America. The sites range in size from 20,000 sq.ft. to 60,000 sq.ft.

Trammell Crow Company (561-394-3388) has been retained by Hollywood Video as its exclusive tenant representation for its FL territory, from Fort Pierce south to Key West. Hollywood Video, which operates more than 1,500 stores, is undergoing an aggressive expansion plan, targeting sites of approximately 5,000 sq.ft., preferably in grocery store-anchored shopping centers. Freestanding sites will also be considered in locations with significant new home growth and in-fill areas. Trammell Crow’s central FL office has the assignment for Hollywood Video’s sites from Naples north to Tampa.

ARC Properties, Inc. (973-249-1000) has been retained by Walgreens as a preferred developer in Northern NJ. The company is seeking 30 new sites in the coming two years. Preferred sites should be one to three acres at a signalized intersection in densely populated areas.

Vestar Property Management (562-938-1762) has been awarded the management contracts for three AZ shopping centers: Main Street Plaza, a 225,000 sq.ft. power center anchored by Wal*Mart and Fry’s in Mesa, Mountain View Marketplace, a 123-000 sq.ft. regional shopping center anchored by Safeway and Walgreens in Phoenix, and Sinagua Plaza, a 32,000 sq.ft. center in Sedona.

Adams-Nelson & Associates, Inc. (540-667-2424) has been appointed the exclusive listing agent for the subleasing of the former Everything Rubbermaid store at Ward’s Plaza in Winchester, VA. The space is 19,153 sq.ft. and has an asking rent of $4.50 psf.

SiteWorks National (410-309-9450) has been appointed national master broker for several major retailers including Sutton Place Gourmet, Balducci’s, Jos. A. Bank, and Kitchen Etc. on an outsource basis. All of these retailers are currently expanding nationally.
