Lease Signings

 

MRO Management, Inc. (915-687-0148) leased 43,708 sq.ft. to Cinemark USA, Inc. at Victoria Mall in Victoria, TX.

 

Inland Commercial Property Management, Inc. (630-954-5656) leased 1,710 sq.ft. to Video Game X-change at Highpoint Center in Madison, WI. The lease term was five years.

 

Island Associates Real Estate Inc. (631-587-5050) brokered the leases of three spaces for Tricon Global Restaurants in NY, which will trade as Taco Bell at two of the locations and KFC at the other. All three leases are long-term ground leases, with an aggregate rental in excess of $1.2 million.

 

Garrick-Aug Associates Store Leasing, Inc. (212-557-9090) leased 800 sq.ft. to Selima Optique on Prince Street in New York, NY. The lease term is 10 years.

The Greenberg Group (516-295-0406) represented Gucci in a lease at Somerset Collection in Troy, MI.

 

Sansone Group (314-727-6664) leased 52,800 sq.ft. to Great Midwest Antique Mall at Hilltop Village Shopping Center in Eureka, MO.

 

Charter Realty & Development Corp. (203-620-3939) leased 88,000 sq.ft. to Kohl’s at Elm Plaza Shopping Center in Enfield, CT. The store is slated to open during April of 2001. The company leased an 82,000 sq.ft. anchor space to Burlington Coat Factory in a building formerly housing Bradlees at the Charter Oak Mall, a 216,000 sq.ft. shopping center at the intersection of Silver Lane and Interstate 84 in East Hartford CT. Other anchors include Super Stop & Shop and Mitch’s Place Discount Store. The company also leased two spaces on behalf of Mandees: an 8,500 sq.ft. space in the National Wholesale Liquidators Plaza at the intersection of Route One and Peck Lane in Orange, CT anchored by National Wholesale Liquidators and TJ Maxx, and a 7,210 sq.ft. space in the Super Marshall’s Center on Silas Deane Highway in Wethersfield, CT. Both stores plan a Spring 2000 opening.

 

Grubb & Ellis (714-939-6034) subleased 24,906 sq.ft. to Staples at Bristol Center on South Bristol Street in Santa Ana, CA. The store is a relocation of another Staples store from a shopping center at the intersection of Bristol and MacArthur Boulevard.

 

Harrison & Bates (804-788-1000), a division of Grubb & Ellis, leased 28,000 sq.ft. to Michael’s and 28,200 sq.ft. to Staples at the Southgate Square Shopping Center in Colonial Heights, VA.

 

Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (757-497-2113) leased 2,400 sq.ft. to Richmond Comix at Midlothian Crossing Shopping Center on Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond, VA. The comic book store is expanding into a larger space in the shopping center. Other tenants include Big Lots, Unfinished Furniture and Goodwill. The company also leased 55,730 sq.ft. to Bed, Bath and Beyond on High Point Road in Greensboro, NC. The property was a former Kroger supermarket.

 

Retail Property Group (954-772-1288) brokered a lease for Super Target in Lauder Hill, FL; in addition to deals with Borders, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Foot Start, Gateway Computers and Old Navy in Gainesville, FL; BJ’s Wholesale Club in Hialeah Gardens, FL; and for Lowe’s in Fort Lauderdale and Coral Springs, FL.

 

National Real Estate Brokerage (301-770-8585) brokered a lease for Super Fresh in Hyattsville, MD, and for DSW Shoe Warehouses in Fairfax and Springfield, VA.

 

Harvey Lindsay Commercial Real Estate (757-640-8700) leased 11,200 sq.ft. to Dollar Tree at Kemps River Crossing in Virginia Beach, VA.

 

Investment Management Associates, Inc. (305-661-0110) leased 10,000 sq.ft. to Villa Sorina Italian Restaurant in north Bay Village, FL; 1,800 sq.ft. to Frymaster Corporation and 1,200 sq.ft. to Christa Star Talent at Sunrise Centre in Miami, FL; 1,500 sq.ft. to Costamar Travel & Tours and 1,400 sq.ft. to Yesterday and Today Records at the Boykin Center in Miami, FL; 1,450 sq.ft. to Omnipoint at Chapel Trail Plaza in Pembroke Pines, FL; and 1,200 sq.ft. to Church’s Chicken at Honey Hill Plaza in Miami, FL.

 

Pace Properties, Inc. (314-394-3301) represented both the lessor and lessee in the leasing of 30,000 sq.ft. to TJ Maxx on Olive Boulevard in St. Louis, MO. The lessor was Gateway Riverside, Inc. The company also represented Shoe Cents in the leasing of 3,600 sq.ft. on Country Corners in Washington, MO. Grubb & Ellis Krombach Partners represented the lessor.

 

CB Richard Ellis (602-735-5720) brokered the leasing of 25,000 sq.ft. to Old Navy at The Promenade, an entertainment center located at the intersection of Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and Scottsdale Road in North Scottsdale, AZ. The shopping center is currently being developed and is anchored by The Great Outdoors.
