Edens & Avant (800-662-7212) appointed Patrick Lavelle asset manager. Before coming to Edens & Avant, Lavelle was responsible for the promoting, marketing and managing more than seven million sq.ft. of retail space for two of the industry’s largest real estate developers. In his new capacity, Lavelle will be responsible for the overall operational and financial aspects for Edens & Avant’s necessity retail centers in AL, KY, MS, southern GA and TN. The company also appointed Joseph Wray III director of property sales. Prior to joining the company, Wray acted as vice president in the investment properties group for CB Richard Ellis, as well as serving as director of real estate for Confederation Life Insurance Company and vice president with Equitable Real Estate Investment Management, Co. In his new capacity, Wray will oversee the sale of select company-owned assets.

 

Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (757-497-2113) named Earl Goodman and Alan Luger principals of DRE’s Bethesda, MD office. Goodman has been responsible for the leasing of more than 500 million sq.ft. of space in Washington, D.C., MD and VA during his career. Before moving to DRE, Luger was most recently the director of brokerage at the Rappaport Companies where he created a brokerage division which leased and managed 22 shopping centers. The company also named Garrett Bauman vice president of retail for DRE’s Washington, D.C. office. Bauman will focus on national and local tenant representation and shopping center leasing. Most recently before coming to DRE, Bauman worked at KLMB, Inc. where he assisted the company with its expansion into the Washington, D.C. market.

 

Duke-Weeks Realty Corporation (317-808-6016) named Chris Norvell a leasing representative to its Raleigh Group. Norvell will work under senior vice president of the Raleigh Group, David Lindner, and will market and lease properties to prospective clients. Before coming to Duke-Weeks, Norvell worked for CB Richard Ellis as an industrial specialist.

 

The Daniel Group, LLC (410-435-4300) appointed John DiMeo a senior leasing associate. Before joining the company, DiMeo worked most recently for Jones Lang LaSalle in Atlanta, GA. DiMeo will be initially responsible for re-merchandising and re-leasing Camp Hill Mall in Harrisburg, PA, Coventry Mall in Pottstown, PA and Liberty Fair in Martinsville, VA.

 

Midway Development Company (713-523-6630) named Rick Harsch a senior vice president. Prior to joining the company, Harsch served as a portfolio manager with Fairfield Financial Group of Houston, TX. In his new capacity Harsch will be involved in a variety of operations including business development, portfolio acquisitions, equity placement and feasibility and due diligence analysis.

 

Island Associates Real Estate Inc. (516-587-5050) named John Nicolosi sales associate and retail leasing agent. Prior to joining the company, Nicolosi worked at The Phillips Group designing and managing construction projects for large corporations in Manhattan, NY.

 

Pyramid Brokerage Company (315-445-1030) acquired Robert A. Mead Associates as part of its continuing expansion in NY. Mead’s Binghampton office will become the company’s sixth location in the state, joining offices in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Utica and Albany.

 

LMS Commercial Real Estate hired Kenneth Dunlap, Dominick Versace, Ronald Regar and Michelle Bodine as licensed real estate agents. The three gentlemen’s responsibilities consist of seeking out prospective tenants for existing and new retail centers, and to sell and lease commercial properties to buyers and sellers. Bodine will be responsible for assiting in building the company’s marketing profile and coordination of day-to-day leasing operations.

 

The Bernstein Companies (202-333-9000) appointed Martin Saturn vice president of acquisitions for TBC and its consortium capital funds. Before coming to the company, Saturn worked for Meisel and Cohen Properties where he served as director of finance and acquisitions.

 

Moody Rambin Interests, Inc. (713-773-5555) appointed Lilly Golden vice president in its retail properties division. Before coming to the company, Golden worked for Boyd Page & Associates. Her new responsibilities will include representing major retailers including P.S. Plus Sizes and Fashion Bug in their leasing negotiations.
