ComNet Realty, Inc. (561-999-0006) hired Henry Gluckstern as a senior associate. Gluckstern specializes in sales and leasing of medical facilities, office and retail properties. The company also hired Ernest Harwitt as a broker-associate. Prior to joining the firm, Harwitt built and managed a portfolio of apartment houses, shopping centers, office building and industrial parks. His areas of specialty include the sale of credit-rated single-tenant net leased properties, and arranging like-kind 1031 and 1033 exchanges.

Edens & Avant (800-662-7212) hired Steven Sengson as director of retail development. Prior to joining the firm, Sengson was director of real estate and development for Regal Cinemas. The company also promoted David Harner to the position of manager, retail development. Most recently, Harner worked as assistant project manager in the company’s construction administration group.

Southeastern Realty Group (407-629-5595) appointed Teri Young vice president/retail sales and leasing. Young has 16 years experience in the Central FL market. The company also appointed Trish DeBell leasing/sales associate. DeBell has 10 years experience in commercial property management.

Lerner-Heidenberg-Simon Development Company (201-768-1300) was recently formed to acquire and develop retail properties in the northeastern and middle Atlantic states. The company will focus on freestanding stores, strip and power centers. Partners in the new venture include Steven Lerner and Robert Heidenberg of Lerner-Heidenberg Properties, Philip Schoenberger of Albemarle Equities, Bruce Fishman and Joseph DeMiaio of Cornerstone Properties and Gene Goldstein of Goldstein Associates.

CB Richard Ellis (757-490-3300) has entered into a partnership with Robinson Sigma Commercial Real Estate. As part of the agreement, Robinson Sigma will acquire the Virginia Beach and Richmond offices of CB Richard Ellis and do business throughout the region as CB Richard Ellis.
