Carnegie Management is developing Avon Commons, a 450,000 sq.ft. project located along the south side of U.S. Highway 36 west of Raceway Road in Avon, IN. The planned strip center is to be anchored by a 175,000 sq.ft. SuperTarget, while other tenants include a 30,000 sq.ft. H.H. Gregg, a 45,000 sq.ft. Jo-Ann etc., and a 23,000 sq.ft. OfficeMax. Negotiations are continuing with Linens ‘n Things to bring a 35,000 sq.ft. store to the center, and a 45,000 sq.ft. sporting goods store is also planned. Six outlots are also planned, and Olive Garden, Red Lobster, On the Border and Longhorn Steakhouse are all slated to open units. Space is available. Lafayette Square Mall operates nearby. A July 2001 opening for all businesses is planned.

The Courtelis Company is developing The Cascades at Isleworth, a 246,000 sq.ft., 27.4-acre shopping center located at the southwest corner of Conroy Windermere and Apopka Vineland Roads in Orlando, FL. Space is available. The combined traffic count is in excess of 60,000 cars. Demographics show a population of 121,768 residing within five miles earning $72,230 as the household income.

Campanelli Companies is currently remodeling Broadway Shopping Center, a 200,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of School Street and Route 15 (Broadway) in Bangor, ME. Spaces of 8,000 sq.ft. (formerly occupied by Rite Aid) and 24,000 sq.ft. (formerly occupied by TJ Maxx) are available, and a 60,000 sq.ft. expansion is planned. The Proto Group, LLC plans to break ground on The Golden Triangle, a proposed 500,000 sq.ft. power center located in Berlin, CT in the coming months. The company has an oral commitment from a 150,000 sq.ft. anchor tenant, and is offering the project for sale or ground lease, and is also open to joint venture opportunities with accredited developers. The daily traffic count is more than 80,000 cars per day. Demographics show a population of 2,061,361 residing within 30 miles earning an average income of $69,997.
