Lease SigningsThe Cafaro Company (330-747-2661) brokered the leasing of 4,530 sq.ft. to National Record Mart at Millcreek Mall located in Erie, PA.
MRO Management (915-687-0148) leased 27,194 sq.ft. to Metro Fitness at La Placita Village located in Tucson, AZ; and 7,000 sq.ft. to Full Circle Bookstore located on Penn in Oklahoma City, OK.
Levy Miller Maretz (203-389-5377) leased a one-acre pad site to New Haven Savings Bank sitting in front of Margaritas and the Days Inn Motel along Route One in Branford, CT. The ground lease term runs ten years with options.
NYC Realty, Inc. (201-227-9790) brokered the leasing of 22,000 sq.ft. to El Supremo Supermarket in a space formerly occupied by A&P located on Broad Street in Elizabeth, NJ; the company also leased 30,000 sq.ft. to El Supremo on Springfield Avenue in Irvington, NJ. The chain is a new Latin supermarket concept serving multi-ethnic marketplaces.
Boyd Page (713-523-6630) leased 4,500 sq.ft. on behalf of Prestige Rental Purchase at Braesner Village Shopping Center located at the southwest corner of North Braeswood and South Gessner in Houston, TX.
Sigma National, Inc. (804-320-6100) represented both Target and Best Buy in the leasing of space at Wards Crossing, a 342,416 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Wards Ferry Road and Route 29 in Lynchburg, VA. Target and Best Buy anchor the facility, and negotiations are currently under way to bring Barnes & Noble, PETsMART and Dicks Sporting Goods to the center. The company also brokered the leasing of two 24,500 sq.ft. spaces to Barnes & Noble at The Creeks of Virginia Center located on Route One south of Ashland in north Richmond, VA. A Spring 2001 is planned; and Coliseum Mall located on Coliseum Mall Drive in Hampton, VA. A Winter 2002 opening is planned.
Federal Realty Investment Trust (301-990-0270) leased 16,000 sq.ft. to Cost Plus World Market at Pentagon Row, a 300,000 sq.ft. + mixed-use center located at the intersection of South Joyce Street and Army Navy Drive in Rockville, MD. The first phase of the facility is slated to open this Fall.
Flocke & Avoyer (619-280-2600) represented the lessor, The Eastlake Company, LLC, in the leasing of 1,792 sq.ft. to Huckleberrys at Eastlake Village Center South in Chula Vista, CA. The lease term was 38 months and was valued in excess of $116,000.
Divaris Real Estate (757-497-2113) leased 9,000 sq.ft. to Hong Kong Buffet at Heritage Hills Shopping Center located at the intersection of Brookwood Road and The East/West Connector in Austell, GA. The center is anchored by Hobby Lobby. The company also leased 3,200 sq.ft. to Island Grill at Lakes Mall located on West Oakland Park Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Tenants at the center include MacFrugals, The Sports Authority, PL&J Linen Supermarket and Smart and Final. The company also signed five leases on behalf of Mars, The Musicians Planet in CA. Divaris Real Estate is the exclusive broker for the companys new sites nationwide.
KLNB, Inc. (410-321-0100) brokered the leasing of 14,000 sq.ft. at Essex Square Shopping Center, a 106,650 sq.ft. project located on VA Highway 17 in Tappahannock, VA; and 13,090 sq.ft. at Warrenton Town Center, a 119,000 sq.ft. shopping center located on Waterloo Road in Warrenton, VA, both to P&G Theatres. The company also represented the lessee, K&G Menswear, in the leasing of 17,400 sq.ft. on Cromwell Bridge Road in Columbia, MD.
Edgemark, LLC (630-472-1010) brokered the leasing of 24,000 sq.ft. to Harlem Furniture at Prairie View shopping center located in Morton Grove, IL; 10,304 sq.ft. to Dollar Tree at Racine Center located in Racine, WI; 7,000 sq.ft. to One Price Clothing at Gateway Plaza located in Chicago, IL; and 2,200 sq.ft. to Radio Shack at Stonebrook shopping center in Merrionette Park, IL. The company also brokered eight additional leases totaling approximately 25,000 sq.ft. in recent weeks.
R.J. Brunelli (732-721-5800) brokered the leasing of two spaces to Borders Books and Music: a 25,000 sq.ft. space at Paramus Town Square, a 234,000 sq.ft. shopping center anchored by Circuit City and Linens n Things located in Paramus, NJ; and 24,000 sq.ft. at Fort Lee Town Center, a 60,000 sq.ft. project located on Main Street in Bergen County, NJ. Fort Lee Town Center is 80% leased and slated for a Spring 2001 opening, and other tenants include Blockbuster, Kinkos and Duane Reade. The Paramus, NJ store is expected to open this Fall.
Neal Realty & Investments, Inc. (954-568-0530) leased 2,000 sq.ft. to Photomasters at PMP Plaza located on West Commercial Boulevard in Tamarac, FL. The five-year lease was valued at $106,000; 4,092 to Mega-Dollar at Maplewood Plaza located on University Drive, Coral Springs, FL. The five-year lease was valued at $271,500; and 1,100 sq.ft. to Party Makers at Village Shoppes at Lighthouse Point located on the northwest corner of Federal Highway and 39th Street in Lighthouse Point, FL.
Zell Commercial Real Estate (602-248-0600) leased 4,027 sq.ft. to Blockbuster at ABCO Desert Foothills Shopping Center located at the northeast corner of Chandler Boulevard and Desert Foothills in Phoenix, AZ. The company also leased 2,400 sq.ft. to Walts Jewelers at Chandler Marketplace located at the northwest corner of Alma School and Ray Roads in Chandler, AZ. The location will replace the companys existing store in the area.

The center is anchored by Acme, Regal Cinema, Marshalls and Family Toy; Warrington Crossing, a 110,000 sq.ft. shopping center located at the intersection of Route 611 and County Line Road in Warrington, PA. The center is anchored by Regal Cinemas and Ruby Tuesday; and Newtown Shopping Center, a 220,000 sq.ft. shopping center located at the intersection of Route 413 and the Route 332 bypass in Newtown, PA. The center is anchored by Acme, Staples and Bed, Bath & Beyond. The company also leased 12,000 sq.ft. to Petco at Hanover Commons, a 225,000 sq.ft. shopping center located on Eisenhower Drive in Hanover, PA. Anchors include SuperKmart, Pier One and Staples.

The lease term runs five years; 2,176 sq.ft. to Creative Cuts at Plaza 50 located on Highway 50 East in Carson City, NV. The lease term runs one year; 7,800 sq.ft. to Flores Mexican Restaurant located at Village Shopping Center on West Anderson Lane in Austin, TX. The lease term runs five years.
Charter Realty (203-629-3939) brokered the leasing of 91,500 sq.ft. to four tenants at Danvers Crossing located in Danvers, MA. The new tenants include Big Lots Furniture (32,000 sq.ft.), Bed, Bath & Beyond, Totally Kids & CFO [three divisions of Anne & Hope](32,000 sq.ft.), Golfers Warehouse (20,000 sq.ft.) and BB Kids (7,500 sq.ft.) in the space formerly occupied by Davids Bridal.
Sansone Group (314-727-6664) brokered the leasing of 3,185 sq.ft. to Kids Sportsworld at Mid Rivers Center located on Mid Rivers Center in the greater St. Louis, MO region.
