CB Richard Ellis Retail Services will be responsible for the following centers: Northwest Plaza a 444,000 sq.ft. center located at the northwest corner of Philadelphia Drive and Siebenthaler in Dayton, OH, anchored by Elder Beermans, Kroger and Heilig-Meyers; Lakeview Plaza Shopping Center, a 165,000-sq.ft. center located on Richmond Road, between New Circle Road and Man O War Boulevard in Lexington, KY, and anchored by Kmart, World Gym and Hancock Fabrics; Redwood Plaza Shopping Center, a 100,000 sq.ft. center located at the northwest corner of 700 North and Redwood Road in Salt Lake City, UT, anchored by Food 4 Less and Hollywood Video; River Bay Plaza Shopping Center, an 80,000 sq.ft. center located at the southeast Corner of US 301 and Gibsonton Road in Riverview, FL, anchored by Winn Dixie, Walgreens, McDonalds and Nations Bank; and Northway Mall, a 400,000 sq.ft. enclosed mall located at the intersection of McKnight Road and Babcock/Peebles Roads in Pittsburgh, PA, and anchored by Value City, Borders, Dicks Clothing & Sports, Super Saver Cinema, Marshalls and Old Navy. The Archon Group awarded the contract for investment sales and consulting to CB Richard Ellis Retail Services for the following centers: Plaza Westlake, a 120,000 sq.ft. center located at the northwest corner of Bloomingdale and Army Trail roads in Bloomingdale, IL, and anchored by Jewel/Osco; Towne Center, a 100,000 sq.ft. center located on Highway K15 between 79th and Webb Road at Greenway Road in Derby, KS, which is anchored by Dillons Grocery Store; and Springwood Plaza, an 88,000 sq.ft. center located on West Florissant Avenue, north of Chambers Road in Dellwood, MO, which is anchored by Schnucks Market.
Charter Realty & Development Company (203-629-3939) has the exclusive leasing assignment for Yorktowne Plaza, a 155,000 sq.ft. shopping center located on Cranbrook Road in Baltimore, MD. The center is anchored by Food Lion and Rite Aid. Spaces of 1,400 sq.ft. to 25,000 sq.ft. are available. Demographics show a trade area population of 60,000 earning $58,000 as the median income.
United Commercial Realty/ChainLinks (214-526-6262) has been retained by the Dallas Region of the Southwest division of Kroger to develop "Store in a Store," a joint-venture concept between Kroger and other retailers under which the smaller retailers lease space within Kroger stores to sell products and services over their own brand names.
Sigma National, Inc. (804-320-6100) has been named exclusive leasing representative for the two former Just For Feet buildings located in front of Chesterfield Marketplace located in Chesterfield, VA and Virginia Center Commons located in Glen Allen, VA. The freestanding buildings are 17,108 sq.ft. and can be subdivided. The company had also been named exclusive agent for Tappahanock Towne Center, a 103,000 sq.ft. center anchored by Peebles and Heilig-Meyers, and located on U.S. Route 17/360 in Tappahanock, VA. Spaces of 1,000 sq.ft to 20,000 sq.ft. can be made available.
