Lease Signings


Breslin Realty (516-741-7400) represented the lessor, Chuck E. Cheese, in the leasing of 12,000 sq.ft. formerly occupied by Discovery Zone at Jay Scutti Plaza in Garden City, NY. Other tenants include Party City, Modern Woman, Border Books and Pizzeria Uno. The lease was valued in excess of $3.5 million. The company also represented Petco in the leasing of 15,000 sq.ft. at the same shopping center. The lease was valued in excess of $4.5 million.

 

Garrick-Aug Worldwide (212-557-9090) leased 2,200 sq.ft. for HSBC bank on Madison Avenue at East 88th Street in Manhattan, NY and 2,300 sq.ft. on behalf of the property owner at the Hippodrome building located on Avenue of the Americas between West 43rd and 44th Streets in Manhattan, NY.

 

Ripco Real Estate (516-933-8880) brokered a 4,000 sq.ft. long-term lease for The Vitamin Shoppe at a freestanding site located on Kirkwood Highway near Route Seven in Wilmongton, DE. The company also brokered the leasing of 3,300 sq.ft. to Payless ShoeSource at Bristol Commercial Park, a 260,000 sq.ft. shopping center located at the intersection of Routes 413 and 13 in Bristol, PA. A Fall 2000 opening is planned.

 

Noddle Development Company (800-365-1616) leased 6,902 sq.ft. to Aaron Rents and 7,252 sq.ft. to Dollar General at 48th Street Square in Omaha, NE; 3,000 sq.ft. to FamilyMed and Urgent Care at Empire Park in Omaha, NE; 3,460 sq.ft. to Irv’s Deli and 1,200 sq.ft. to AC Embroidery at Park Place in Fremont, NE; and 2,800 sq.ft. to Uncle Albert’s Restaurant at LeMars Plaza in LeMars, IA.

 

Kramont Realty Trust (610-825-7100) brokered the leasing of 51,000 sq.ft. to Oskar Huber in a space formerly occupied by Filene’s Basement at Valley Fair Shopping Center, a 113,000 sq.ft. shopping center located in Devon, PA. The 10-year lease was valued at approximately $6.2 million. The center is anchored by a 65,000 sq.ft. Circuit City, a 56,000 sq.ft. Super Fresh and a 30,000 sq.ft. Barnes & Noble.

 

Mid-America Real Estate Group (630-954-7300) leased 10,000 sq.ft. to Trader Joe’s at Brookside Plaza in Northbrook, IL. The company also brokered the leasing of 11,000 sq.ft. at Glen Oak Plaza in Glenview, IL, 11,460 sq.ft. at Pickwick Shopping Center in Glen Ellyn, IL and 12,300 sq.ft. at Downers Plaza in Downers Grove, IL, all to Trader Joe’s as well.
