 Stirling Properties (504-898-2022) secured the exclusive leasing and marketing assignment for 13 vacant Wal*Mart stores totaling 975,000 sq.ft. throughout MS.  The assignments entail leasing current vacant spaces and conducting market studies of surrounding areas for potential opportunities.  The company also retained the exclusive management contract for Gulf Breeze Plaza, a 91,000 sq.ft. shopping center located in Ocean Springs, MS.  The property was sold during July 2000 and the new owners, Brumfield Properties, Inc., signed the company to a new contract. 

 

Terranova Corporation (305-358-8700) has the exclusive leasing contract for Lakeview Shopping Center, a 78,000 sq.ft. located on Coral Ridge Road in Coral Springs, FL.  The center is anchored by Publix and Blockbuster, while other tenants include Mailboxes, Etc., Subway and Hair Cuttery. 

 

Keen Realty LLC (516-482-2700) organized a bankruptcy auction of the leaseholds on 38 sites operated by ½ Off Card Shop Inc.  The card company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection during June.
