Courtelis Company plans to break ground on the Cascades at Isleworth, a 250,000 sq.ft. lifestyle specialty center on 27 acres located at the southwest corner of Apopka-Vineland and Conroy Windermere Roads in Lakeland, FL. Space is available. The project, which is slated for a Fall 2000 groundbreaking and a Fall 2001 opening, will be anchored by a 51,000 sq.ft. Publix. Upon completion, the project will include almost 40 specialty shops and restaurants.

Location Realty, Inc. is developing Kinko’s Plaza located at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Blakeslee Street in North Haven, CT. 4,800 sq.ft. is available. The center is anchored by CVS, Kinko’s and Denny’s. The company is also developing Gateway Plaza, a 53,000 sq.ft. shopping center located immediately adjacent to Buckland Mall on Deming Road in Manchester, CT. The daily traffic count is 35,000 cars, and the site has 900 ft. of frontage on Deming Road. The company also plans to construct a 10,125 sq.ft. CVS pharmacy with a drive-through at a portion of the former IGA Supermarket building located at the intersection of Route 10 and Maple Street in Cheshire, CT. A second unit of 7,150 sq.ft. adjacent to the proposed CVS is available.

Regency Realty Corporation is developing Fort Bend Center, a 103,000 sq.ft. project to be anchored by Kroger Signature grocery store, and located at the intersection of Highway Six and Bissonet in Houston, TX. Up to 40,000 sq.ft. is available. The company plans to develop Phase II of the center in the near future. When complete, the project will total 30 acres. The company is also developing a 143,000 sq.ft. shopping center on 16 acres located at the intersection of Twin Oaks Valley Road and Discovery Road in San Marcos, CA. Groundbreaking is scheduled for December 2000, and proposed anchors include Ralph’s, Sav-On, Blockbuster and Hollywood Video. Space is available.

Raley Miller Properties is developing the Sexton Commons Shopping Center, a 45,000 sq.ft. project on seven acres located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 401 and Purfoy Road in Fuquay Varina, NC. Harris Teeter will anchor the center, and approximately 8,800 sq.ft. is available. The center is slated for a June 2001 opening.

MMC Commercial Real Estate is developing Mountain Marketplace, a strip center anchored by a 44,000 sq.ft. Food Lion located in Pasadena, MD. Spaces of 1,500 sq.ft. to 15,000 sq.ft. are available, as are three pad sites with a Spring 2001 delivery. Demographics show a population of 166,979 residing within five miles earning $60,000 as the average income. The asking rent is $14 psf to $18 psf.
