Lease Signings


Michael Salove Company (610-664-8100) brokered the lease of 72,000 sq.ft. for Macy’s Furniture Gallery in Maple Shade, NJ. The store will occupy a former Hechinger’s site and is the company’s first Philadelphia area location. The company also brokered the lease of 10,000 sq.ft. to Pier One Imports at the Shops at Brinton Lakes in Concordville, PA. The store is scheduled to open summer 2001.

 

Swerdlow Real Estate (954-981-1000) and Taubman Centers leased space at the new Dolphin Mall in West Miami-Dade, FL to the following tenants: Oshman’s Supersports USA, bebe, Hilo Hattie, Bakers Shoes, Bombay Company, Carter’s, Quicksilver, Chispa de la Vida, Mario Hernandez, Sagaz and Marthita Jewelry.

 

Sansone Group (314-727-6664) brokered the lease of 8,167 sq.ft. to Deal$-Nothing Over a Dollar at Jefferson County Plaza in Jefferson County, MO. The company also brokered the lease of 4,178 sq.ft. to St. Louis Bread Company at Dierbergs Fenton Crossing in Fenton, MO.

MRO Management (915-687-0148) brokered the following leases: 4,646 sq.ft. to The Buckle, Inc. at the Victoria Mall in Victoria, TX; 4,343 sq.ft. to Woofers & Tweeters at San Miguel Square in Midland, TX; 1,378 sq.ft. to Mrs. Field’s Original Cookies at Victoria Mall in Victoria, TX and 5,593 sq.ft. to Walton Cafe Partnership at Plaza Oaks Shopping Center in Midland, TX.

 

Excess Space Disposition, Inc. (516-365-6400) brokered the following subleases: Lucky 5 Apparel leased 15,000 sq.ft. from Hancock Fabrics in Pittsburg, CA; Dollar Magic, Inc. leased 8,500 sq.ft. from Eckerd Corp. in Chester, PA; Family Dollar leased 8,640 sq.ft. from Eckerd Corp. in Balch Springs, TX and Houston, TX; Rockaway Bedding of CT, Inc. leased 3,200 sq.ft. from Staples in Norwalk, CT; Lambert Healthcare leased 12,032 sq.ft. from Walgreens in Knoxville, TN; Newton Trophy & Sports leased 3,482 sq.ft. from Eckerds Corp. in Newton, NJ; Dollar General leased 8,640 sq.ft. from Eckerd Corp.; The Salvation Army leased 8,850 sq.ft. from Advance Auto in Williamsport, PA; Oakland Computers, Inc. leased 16,410 sq.ft. from Blockbuster in Kentwood, MI; Parrot Cellular leased 1,960 sq.ft. from Payless ShoeSource in Santa Cruz, CA; Mi Casa Furniture leased 8,400 sq.ft. from Eckerd Corp. in San Antonio, TX and Beall’s Outlet Stores leased 10,334 sq.ft. from Eckerd Corp. in Jacksonville, FL.

 

Winick Realty Group (212-792-2600) brokered the leasing of space to Krispy Kreme Donuts at the intersection of Newbridge Road and Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow, NY.

 

Colliers International (702-735-5700) brokered the lease of 1,465 sq.ft. to Sally Beauty Supply on Boulder Highway in Las Vegas, NV. The lease has a five-year term and is valued at $130,000.

 

Drapers & Damons (949-784-3000) leased 4,800 sq.ft. at South Beach Regional Shopping Center in Jacksonville Beach, FL. The women’s apparel retailer will open its seventh store in FL and its 37th store in the chain.

 

Flocke & Avoyer (619-280-2600) brokered the lease of 1,327 sq.ft. to Sign World at The Mercado in San Diego, CA. The lease has a 62-month term and is valued at $163,200 per year.

 

Insignia ESG (212-984-8035) brokered the lease of 6,200 sq.ft. to Amish Market at 252 Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village in New York, NY. The lease has a 15-year term and is valued at approximately $6 million. The store is scheduled to open later this spring.
