Lease Signings


Stiles Corporation (954-627-9300) brokered the lease of 14 490 sq.ft. to Walgreens in Coconut Creek FL. The site is located at the intersection of Lyons and Sample Roads and has a 75-year term. The store is scheduled to open in October 2002.

MRO Management Inc. (915-687-0148) leased 7 164 sq.ft. to Texas Family Medical at Northcross Center in Austin TX. The company also leased 3 332 sq.ft. to Cityvest Financial at Reunion Center in Tulsa OK.

The Cafaro Company (330-747-2661) leased 3 116 sq.ft. to Footlocker and 2 520 sq.ft. to Lady Footlocker at Huntington Mall in Barboursville WV.

The Woodmont Company (817-432-4000) brokered the lease of 12 105 sq.ft. to Famous Footwear at Eastgate Plaza in Wichita KS. The company increased its space in the center from 5 500 sq.ft.

Mid-America Real Estate Group (630-954-7300) brokered the lease of 9 600 sq.ft. to Trader Joe’s at Park Point Plaza in Orland Park IL. The site will be the sixth Chicagoland location for the specialty food stores.

The Staubach Company (972-361-5023) brokered the following leases: 66 750 sq.ft. to Best Buy as a sublease of space from Fred Meyer Stores in Silverdale WA; 24 362 sq.ft. at Golde Creek Plaza II in Lynnwood WA and 23 200 sq.ft. at East Kent Shopping Center in Kent WA to Staples; 15 000 sq.ft. to Brook Mays Music Company at Skyridge Plaza in Round Rock TX; 14 129 sq.ft. to Tuesday Morning in the former Office Depot building in Redmond WA and 5 043 sq.ft. to Brook Mays Music Company at Independence Plaza in Independence MO.

Divaris Real Estate (757-497-2113) brokered the lease of 2 400 sq.ft. to Sun Trust Bank at Leisureworld Plaza Shopping Center in Silver Spring MD. The center is located on International Drive. The company also brokered the lease of 2 355 sq.ft. to H&R Block at Six Columbus Center in Virginia Beach VA. The company also brokered the lease of 2 000 sq.ft. to Beach Eye Care at Turnberry Crossing in Newport News VA. The company also brokered the lease of 140 000 sq.ft. to Sam’s Club at Princess Ann Plaza in Virginia Beach VA. The space is a former Home Quarters Warehouse store and the center is also tenanted by Harris Teeter Linens ‘n’ Things Petsmart and Pier One.

Grubb & Ellis/Phoenix Realty Group (904-399-5222) brokered the lease of 25 564 sq.ft. to Save-A-Lot Foods at Paxon Shopping Center and 1 721 sq.ft. to Areawide Cellular at Stonewood Grill Shopping Center in Jacksonville FL.

CB Richard Ellis (520-323-5100) brokered the lease of 7 088 sq.ft. to Beyond Bread Bakery/Cafe’ at Monterey Village in Tucson AZ. The site is located on East Speedway Boulevard and will be the company’s second location.

RED Development (614-444-6755) signed leases with Aeropostale Baby Gap GapBody Chico’s Learning Express and Rustic Hutch at Jefferson Pointe in Fort Wayne IN.

Grubb & Ellis (858-546-6800) brokered the lease of 3 035 sq.ft. to B & J LLC trading as Carl’s Jr. at the Marketplace at Vail Ranch in Temecula CA. The lease has a 20-year term and a consideration of $2 436 525. The company also brokered the lease of 1 589 sq.ft. to American General Finance at Friars Village in San Diego CA. The lease has a five-year term and a consideration of $135 000.
