Lease Signings

The Mainardi Management Company (973-696-9265) leased 4 500 sq.ft. to Marty’s Shoes in Franklin Sussex County NJ. The company also leased 1 244 sq.ft. to Fantastic Sams in Marlton NJ.

NAI Hiffman (630-932-1234) brokered the lease of six locations for Tutor Time in the Chicago IL metropolitan area. The sites are located in Itasca Schaumburg Lake Zurich Algonquin Third Lake and Elgin IL.

Developers Diversified Realty (216-755-5500) signed the lease of 38 000 sq.ft. to Ashley’s Furniture at Ahwatukee Foothills Towne Center in Phoenix AZ. The 683 175 sq.ft. center is located at the intersection of Interstate 10 and Ray Road and is anchored by AMC Theaters JoAnn Etc. Best Buy Babies R Us Stein Mart Ross Dress for Less Barnes & Noble Office Max Petco Old Navy and Bassett Furniture.

The Staubach Company (973-361-5023) brokered the following leases: 14 804 sq. ft. to Larry’s Shoes at Prestonwood Court in Dallas TX; Cost Plus World Market leased 20 025 sq.ft. at Piedmont Peachtree Crossing in Atlanta GA; 9 267 sq.ft. to Pier 1 Imports at El Cerrito Plaza in El Cerrito CA; 18 300 sq.ft. at the Marketplace at Mill Creek in Buford GA to Cost Plus World Market; 30 000 sq.ft. of land to Wendy’s at Heritage Village Center in Fontana CA and 26 000 sq.ft. to Barnes & Noble in Bay Street Center in Emeryville CA.

Mid-America Real Estate Group/ChainLinks (630-954-7300) signed the following leases at Park Center in Tinley Park IL: 1 300 sq.ft. to Starbucks; 2 400 sq.ft. to Foot Locker and 10 800 sq.ft. to The Furniture Box. The Furniture Box currently operates three locations in PA and MD. This move marks the company’s expansion into the Chicago IL market. The company plans a second Chicago location in the near future. Also two leases were brokered at The Streets of Woodfield in Schaumberg IL. Franklin Covey leased 1 800 sq.ft. and Candleman took 1 591 sq.ft. at the center located at the intersection of Martingale and Higgins Roads.

DLC Management Corp. (914-631-3131) signed the following leases: 1 724 sq.ft. to Westchester Jewish Community at Beach Shopping Center in Peekskill NY; 1 300 sq.ft. to Jamaica Breeze at Lawrenceville Town Center in Lawrenceville GA; 1 000 sq.ft. to State Farm Insurance at Spring Valley Marketplace in Spring Valley NY; 1 760 sq.ft. to Curves for Women at Mall at 59 in Nanuet NY.

Northern Realty Group Ltd. (312-346-9415) signed a lease with Koppel Fine Art Gallery to occupy a retail space at 210 West Chicago in Chicago IL. Another space of 3 200 sq.ft. remains at the same location which already houses Manifesto Paper Source Pearl Art & Craft and Supply & Lightology.

The Sembler Company (727-384-6000) signed the following leases: 2 990 sq.ft. to El Portal 2 832 sq.ft. to Lynn’s Hallmark and 1 230 sq.ft. to Tokyo Sushi Café at Bay Walk Shopping Center in St. Petersburg FL; 1 000 sq.ft. to Signature Cleaners at Beneva Marketplace in Sarasota FL; 1 200 sq.ft. to Café Marques and 2 500 sq.ft. to Personal Treasures at Citrus Center in Inverness FL; 20 000 sq.ft. to Bed Bath & Beyond and 115 369 sq.ft. to BJ’s Wholesale Club at Cumming Marketplace in Cumming GA; 115 396 sq.ft. to BJ’s Wholesale Club 23 753 sq.ft. to Michael’s 2 800 sq.ft. to Payless ShoeSource and 24 229 sq.ft. to Staples at Henry Town Center in McDonough GA; 14 750 sq.ft. to Beall’s Outlet at Parkway Plaza in Tallahassee FL; 15 000 sq.ft. to Beall’s Outlet at Pasadena Shopping Center in South Pasadena FL; 12 913 sq.ft. to Dollar Tree at Village Marketplace in Port Charlotte FL and 115 396 sq.ft. to BJ’s Wholesale Club at Woodstock Square in Woodstock GA.

Flock and Avoyer (619-280-2600) brokered the lease of 500 sq.ft. of land in Sweetwater Square in National City CA to Nextel of California Inc. The lease is with Utah Pacific Development for five years and a consideration of $63 709.

JBG Rosenfeld Retail (301-657-0700) signed leases at three former Hechinger sites with Linens & Things taking 35 000 sq.ft. on Simpson Ferry Road and Route 15 in Camp Hill PA and Wolf Furniture on Route 30 in Lancaster PA and East Market Street in York PA for a combined total of 120 000 sq.ft.

ChainLinks Retail Advisors (703-821-3994) brokered the following leases in AZ with Blockbuster Video: 4 000 sq.ft. at Kierland Village Marketplace at 64th Street and Greenway in Scottsdale; 4 000 sq.ft. at Desert Ridge Marketplace at Tatum and Loop 101 in Phoenix; 4 000 sq.ft. at Greyhawk Marketplace at Scottsdale and Greyhawk in Scottsdale; 4 800 sq.ft. at Albertson’s Shopping Center at Power and Broadway in Mesa and 4 800 sq.ft. at McQueen & Guadalupe Shops at McQueen and Guadalupe in Gilbert. ChainLinks also brokered the lease of 90 000 sq.ft. to Home Depot at Mid-Town Square Mall near downtown Charlotte NC.

(561-624-5888) brokered the following leases: 1 407 sq.ft. to Record Rendezvous at Dellcrest Plaza in San Antonio TX for one year; 1 100 sq.ft. to Creative Cuts at the Plaza 50 Shopping Center in Carson City NV for two years; 2 409 sq.ft. to RES North America LLC at the Gardens Plaza in Palm Beach Gardens FL for three years and 1 525 sq.ft. to Don & Ben’s Inc. at the Dellcrest Plaza in San Antonio TX.

J.H. Snyder Company (323-857-5546) signed a lease with Krikorian Premiere Theatres to open a 12-screen 2 975-seat cineplex at The River in Rancho Mirage in Rancho Mirage CA.

The Goldstein Group (201-703-9700) signed leases with A.C. Moore Atlanta Bread Company Petstuff Discount Marty’s Shoes Clifton Chiropractor Clifton Cleaners 2000 CVS and Kim’s Nails at the Styretowne Shopping Center in Clifton NJ.

Divaris Real Estate Inc. (757-497-2113) brokered the following leases: 24 030 sq.ft. to Big Lots Inc. at Market Square Shopping Center at 1716 Opelika Road in Auburn AL and 4 202 sq.ft. to Video World at Robious Hall Shopping Center located at 10024 Robious Road in Richmond VA.

CB Richard Ellis (714-939-2100) brokered the lease of 3 840 sq.ft. to Atlanta Bread Company at Harbor Boulevard and Orangethorpe in Fullerton CA. The lease with Center Trust is for 10 years and a total consideration of $1 080 576. The company also brokered the lease of 1 600 sq.ft. to 17th Street Beauty Center at SWC Portola Parkway and Marketplace in Foothill Ranch CA. The lease with Foothill Pacific Towne Centre is for five years and for a total consideration of $218 555. The company is also close to signing leases with a 203 000 sq.ft. Wal*Mart and a 130 000 sq.ft. Lowe’s as anchor tenants in the redevelopment of the shuttered Eastgate Shopping Center in Penn Hills PA.

Harbor Properties (206-623-0916) signed leases with Holistic Tao Art of Illusion and Harley Davidson at Harber Steps a 25-story mixed-use complex in Seattle WA.
