The nutrition and supplement retailer leased 1 200 sq.ft. at Washington Square Mall and 1 100 sq.ft. at The Gateway Centre. Phoenix Commercial Advisors/ChainLinks (602-957-9800) brokered five leases for Blockbuster in AZ: 4 800 sq.ft. at Albertson’s Shopping Center in Mesa; 4 800 sq.ft. at McQueen & Guadalupe Shops in Gilbert; 4 000 sq.ft. at Kierland Village Marketplace in Scottsdale; 4 000 sq.ft. at Desert Ridge Marketplace in Phoenix and 4 000 sq.ft. at Greyhawk Marketplace in Scottsdale. Blume Realty (360-491-4600) brokered the following leases: 1 206 sq.ft. to Taco Del Mar and 788 sq.ft. to Candy Bouquets in Fred Meyer Market Square in Lacey WA and 16 800 sq.ft. to Rite Aid at South Sound Center in Lacey WA. United Commercial Realty (214-526-6262) brokered the following leases: 3 410 sq.ft. to Unbridled Saddlery at Snider Plaza located in Dallas TX; 38 000 sq.ft. of land to Whataburger Inc. in the International Business Park Development on the southeast corner of Midway and Park Lane in Carrollton TX and 30 000 sq.ft. of land to Taco Bell on I-10 and Viscount in El Paso TX. Madison Retail Group (202-730-2000) brokered the lease of 18 985 sq.ft. on two floors to Washington Sports Club at 607 14th Street Northwest in Washington DC. Advantis Real Estate Services Company (919-493-6905) brokered the lease of 2 832 sq.ft. to Off the Grill at North Market Square in Raleigh NC. Property Pro (813-835-7747) brokered the following leases for Outback Steakhouse: 6 500 sq.ft. on a 10-year term in Clermont FL; 7 000 sq.ft. on a 10-year term in St. Petersburg FL; 36 000 sq.ft. in Tampa FL; 6 500 sq.ft. in Plant City FL; 6 500 sq.ft. on a 10-year term in Clearwater Beach FL; 6 500 sq.ft. in Inverness FL. The company also brokered a 10-year lease with Carrabba’s Italian Grill for 6 500 sq.ft. in Clearwater FL and 6 500 sq.ft. in Ocala FL. The company also brokered the 20-year lease of 3 652 sq.ft. to Pizza Hut in Plant City FL. The company also brokered the lease on behalf of Boyd Development Co. in Ocala FL with Scotty’s Inc. The Greenberg Group Inc. (516-295-0406) brokered leases for Waterworks a kitchen and bathroom accessory store to open locations in Washington DC and Seattle WA. Bass Pro Shops (800-227-7776) signed a lease at Bannister Mall in south Kansas City MO for a 160 000 sq.ft. Outdoor World store. The mall is being redeveloped and will be called Three Trails Center following the upgrade. The company also received offers from several other malls in the Kansas City area including the Blue Ridge Mall in Jackson County MO Briarcliff West in the Northland in MO and The Great Mall of the Great Plains in Olathe KS. The company also signed a lease with Bricktown Entertainment LLC for a 110 000 sq.ft. store to be located in Bricktown Canal a proposed shopping center in Oklahoma City OK. The company was offered $18 million by Oklahoma City which would give the city ownership of the store. Construction of the store and its parking would be financed through the sale of revenue bonds. Work is scheduled to begin in March and is expected to take one year. Bass Pro Shops will be joined in the complex by a four-story office and retail building of which construction will start in May and go until June 2003 and a Sega Gameworks store for which construction is expected to begin next November.Divaris Real Estate (757-497-2113) brokered the lease of 12 212 sq.ft. to Fitness First at Leesburg Plaza located on East Market Street in Leesburg VA. Fitness First joins Giant Kmart Peeples and CVS in the shopping center. The company also negotiated the lease of 13 050 sq.ft. in the Rockmor Plaza shopping center in Decatur GA to Dolgen Corp. which trades as Dollar General. The center is located at 4871 Memorial Drive. Grubb & Ellis (800-877-9066) brokered the five-year lease of 1 317 sq.ft. to Discount Tobacco Outlet Inc. at 10450 Friars Road in San Diego CA.NAI Mertz Corporation (856-234-9600) brokered the lease of 4 500 sq.ft. to Shades of Africa Inc. a retail store selling artwork and other cultural items in Philadelphia PA. The company also brokered the lease of 4 000 sq.ft. of space in a 22 000 sq.ft. building to Express Video Supply from Schultz Management Services at 3170 Knight Road in Philadelphia PA. Coyote Management L.P. (972-248-9375) brokered the lease of 6 946 sq.ft. to On The Borden Mexican Grill & Cantina at Sikes Senter Mall in Witchita Falls TX. The restaurant is scheduled to open by mid-April and will be located on the northwest corner of the mall. Capital Realty Advisors Inc. (561-624-5888) negotiated a lease of 2 400 sq.ft. to Discovery Cycle at the Village Shopping Center located at 2700 West Anderson Lane in Austin TX. |
