Regal Cinemas, Inc. (865-922-1123) closed the Georgetown Square Theaters I & II in Fort Wayne, IN. The company operates four other theaters in Fort Wayne and closed the East State Boulevard and Maplecrest Road location because of underperformance. Regal had closed another second-run theater (Holiday I & II) earlier last year. The company operates 413 theaters in 32 states.

The Bombay Company, Inc. (817-870-1847) closed eight stores whose leases expired or sales were underperforming at the end of 2000. The company operates 409 stores selling furniture and accessories.

Paul Harris Company (317-293-3900) may close its downtown Indianapolis, IN flagship store due to its Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. The 15,000 sq.ft. store is located at the corner of Meridian and Washington Streets adjacent to Circle Centre. The company operates 300 stores.

Troutman’s Emporium (541-746-9611) will close at Medford Center Shopping Center in Medford, OR. The 35,000 sq.ft. store could not reach a long-term lease agreement with Pulver and Leever Real Estate Co. who represents the center. The 31-unit chain is looking for another site in the Medford market.
