Michael Joseph Development Corporation is building Phase III of Townfair Center in Indiana, PA. The project is located on Business Route 422 and will be anchored by a 17,760 sq.ft. Michael’s Arts & Crafts and an 8,050 sq.ft. Pier 1 Imports. The center will have a GLA of 200,000 sq.ft. and is anchored by Lowe’s Home Improvement Center, Shop ‘n Save Supermarket and CVS Pharmacy. Inline space and outparcels are available and Phase III is scheduled to open in the fall.

The Ainbinder Company is developing the 85,520 sq.ft. Bear Creek Shopping Center to be anchored by HEB Grocery Store in Houston, TX. The 12.6-acre site is located at the intersection of Highway 6 and Keith Harrow Road and is scheduled to open this fall. The center will include 25,000 sq.ft. of store space.

Alemar Properties is developing a second phase for the Mission Grove Plaza in Riverside, CA. The project will occupy 26-acres and have a GLA of 200,000 sq.ft. to 250,000 sq.ft. and house about a dozen tenants. The project is located at the intersection of Alessandro Boulevard and Trautwein Road and is scheduled to open by the end of the year. The 400,000 sq.ft. initial phase of the center is anchored by Kmart, Ralphs and a CinemaStar Luxury Theater.

Crossover Commercial Group is developing an 18,000 sq.ft. Phase II at La Cita Plaza in Titusville, FL. The center will have a GLA of 58,000 sq.ft. upon completion and is built on seven acres. The site has proximity to La Cita Golf and Tennis Club. The asking rent is $15 psf NNN plus $2.50 psf CAM and interior build-out allowances are available for qualified tenants. Douglas Development is redeveloping The Market Place at Bowie in Bowie, MD. The center is anchored by Safeway and is located at the intersection of Annapolis Road (Route 450) and Superior Lane. The project has over 150,000 sq.ft. available for retail or quasi-retail uses. The center has two fuel stations and a bank in outparcel spaces. Area demographics include a population of 86,731 residing in a five-mile radius earning an average annual household income of $86,976.

CoSol Commercial Real Estate is marketing the development at Scenic Place in Modesto, CA. The center will be anchored by a 54,500 sq.ft. Save Mart supermarket and a 22,300 sq.ft. Longs Drug Store, with a third anchor spot available between 21,000 sq.ft. to 30,000 sq.ft. The development is located at Scenic Drive and Oakdale Road and will also include a 6,000 sq.ft. multi-tenant building that will host Subway Sandwich Shop and Panda Express Chinese restaurant.

Harrison & Grass, LLC is developing the 518,000 sq.ft. Colonnade in Patton Township, PA. The center is anchored by Lowe’s Home Improvement and Wegman’s Food Market’s is constructing a 110,000 sq.ft. store that is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2002. A smaller multi-tenant building is also being developed and will be completed in September. Construction has begun on a Dick’s Sporting Goods and Michael’s Arts & Crafts. The project is scheduled to be completed spring 2002.

The Koffler Group is redeveloping the Diamond Hill Plaza in Woonsocket, RI. The $25 million project includes the addition of 400,000 sq.ft. to the center’s GLA. Lowe’s Home Improvement will anchor the new development and Burlington Coat Factory will occupy a new 80,000 sq.ft. space.
