Robert Clark is developing the 90,000 sq.ft. Outlet Expo Manufacturers Plaza in Pomona, CA. The 10-acre site is a portion of the former General Dynamics plant located at Mission Boulevard and the 71 Freeway. The company has signed 65 tenants for the center giving the center an occupancy factor of 85%. The center’s tenants will include Boyd Furniture, Source Ex, Skechers and The Candle Shop. Six jewelers and a Chinese restaurant are also in the tenant mix.

Kitchell Development Company is building phase II of Old Ranch Town Center in Seal Beach, CA. Phase two will be tenanted by Ralphs Supermaket, Bed Bath & Beyond, Sav-on Drugs, World Savings, Islands, Macaroni Grill, Starbucks Coffee, Togo’s/Baskin Robbins, Pacific Bell Wireless, Pick-Up Stix, Z Pizza, Daphne’s Greek Cafe, Rubio’s Baja Grill, Payless Shoe Source, GNC, Great Clips, Happy Nails & Spa and 2nd Street Beauty. Groundbreaking for the specialty center is scheduled for the fourth quarter 2001, with opening date projected for the third quarter of 2002. Forest City Development is developing an 80,000 sq.ft. addition to The Promenade Mall in Temecula, CA. The two-story expansion will link the 766,500 sq.ft. center with a 165,500 sq.ft. Macy’s store to be built on the south side of the mall. Robinsons-May will also expand its Promenade Mall location by 35,000 sq.ft.
