Ames (860-257-2598) closed its two York County, PA locations. The sites are located at 2430 East Market Street in Springettsbury, PA and 1201 Carlisle Road in West Manchester Township, PA.

Heilig-Meyers Company (804-784-7300) will close 116 units in 25 states, including 111 Heilig-Meyers stores and five The RoomStore locations in Portland, OR. Thirty closings will take place in NC. The cuts are part of a second wave of closings for the furniture store chain which shuttered 300 stores this fall. The chain will be left with 400 locations nationwide.
