Edens & Avant (803-779-4420) promoted Tina A. Marshall to vice president of retail client services. Marshall will be responsible for expansion of the company’s third-party leasing and management program. Prior to joining the firm in 1998, Marshall served as vice president of shopping center operations for Aronov Realty Management, Inc.

 

Grubb & Ellis of Metropolitan Washington, DC (202-775-7600) promoted Patricia Maccini-Rollins to assistant vice president. Rollins has more than 15 years of experience in the industry as an asset manager.

 

Sperry Van Ness (909-466-2500) hired Brad Umansky into its Ontario, CA office. Umansky joins the firm from Lee & Associates where he had been vice president and partner. He has also served at Grubb & Ellis and has closed over 250 brokerage transactions in his career.

 

Marcus & Millichap (773-693-0700) named Michael J. Christie a director of its National Retail Group with its Chicago, IL office. Christie is also president of Investment Real Estate Services, Inc. of Des Plaines, IL which manages properties in IL and WI.

 

Erwin L. Greenberg Commercial Corporation (410-837-2500) is partnering with Prudential Real Estate Investors to create a $250 million shopping center investment program. The program will focus on the Mid-Atlantic states.

 

Regency Realty Corporation (904-356-7000) has changed its name to Regency Centers Corporation. The change was made to better fit the company’s position as a developer and operator of grocery-anchored shopping centers. The company owns 235 centers with more than 27.1 million sq.ft. of space in 22 states.

 

Divaris Real Estate (954-983-9190) has formed a strategic alliance with Synergy Retail Group to provide brokerage and property management services in South FL. The brokerage services will be under the direction of Synergy’s offices in Boca Reaton, while Divaris will handle the management end from its offices in Hollywood, FL.

 

Kohl’s (262-703-7000) chairman Bill Kellogg retired from the company. Kellogg is estimated to have holdings in the company worth more than $1.5 billion.

 

CB Richard Ellis (770-951-7927) named Mike Burkard state investment advisor for NC. Burkhard will be responsible for information on the NC retail investment properties for the CB Richard Ellis companies.

 

Office Depot (561-438-7635) hired Gerald E. Colley as president of North American stores. Colley joins the company from his position as senior vice president at AutoZone, Inc.

 

Best Buy (952-947-2000) announced numerous promotions as the company restructures for the future. Allen Lenzmeier has been promoted to president of retail stores from his previous position as executive vice president and CFO. Lenzmeier has been with the company for 16 years.

 

Katz & Associates (201-573-0300) promoted Sandi W. Danick to vice president for the New York region. Danick has been with the company since 1999 as a director of real estate. The company also hired Giada Cucchiani as a real estate representative. Cucchiani joins the company from Newmark & Company.
