Lease SigningsMichael Joseph Development Corporation (724-934-1006) leased 54,500 sq.ft. to Elder Beerman Department Stores at The Commons in Dubois, PA. The 320,000 sq.ft. center is located at the intersection of Route 255 and Shaffer Road is anchored by Lowes Home Improvement Center and Shop n Save Supermarket.
R.J. Brunelli & Co. (732-721-5800) brokered the lease of 37,500 sq.ft. to Linens n Things at The Commons at Holmdel in Monmouth County, NJ. The company also leased 25,000 sq.ft. to Barnes & Noble at the 235,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Route 35 and Laurel Avenue.
Levin Management Corporation (908-755-2401) brokered two leases at Crossroads Place Shopping Center in Fairfax, VA. Vietnam Center Fabrics leased 21,404 sq.ft. and Cost Plus World Market took 15,895 sq.ft. in the 336,000 sq.ft. center.
CB Richard Ellis/Oklahoma (918-744-0262) brokered the lease of 2,400 sq.ft. to Yi Qing Zheng trading as Hot Wok at County Line Center in Broken Arrow, OK.
Stiles Corporation (954-627-9300) brokered the following leases at Campbell Station in Springhill, TN: 2,100 sq.ft. to Campbell Station Dentistry; 1,400 sq.ft. to Fashion Cleaners and 1,050 sq.ft. to Supercuts. The 80,400 sq.ft. center will be anchored by Kroger and is scheduled to open summer 2001.The company also leased 3,813 sq.ft. to Steak N Shake and 1,220 sq.ft. to Nutrition Cafe at the Boulevard Square Annex in Pembroke Pines, FL.
Staubach Company (972-361-5023) brokered two leases for Hobby Lobby: 60,000 sq.ft. at Britt David Shopping Center in Columbus, GA and 50,519 sq.ft. at Springfield Park Shopping Center in Lawrenceville, GA. The company is moving into a former HQ Building site in Columbus and a former A&P Food Store location in Lawrenceville.
The Grossman Companies (617-472-2000) brokered a lease for Curves for Women at Kingstown Plaza in North Kingstown, RI. The 87,440 sq.ft. center is anchored by TJ Maxx, HomeGoods and Dollar Tree. The company also leased 33,000 sq.ft. to Price Rite Supermarkets at Towne Centre in Seekonk, MA. The site is a former Kmart store.
Grubb & Ellis (714-939-6000) leased 30,360 sq.ft. to 99 Cents Only Store at Montebello Plaza in Montebello, CA. It will be the companys 99th store nationwide. The Woodlands Operating Company, LP (281-719-6174) leased 16,000 sq.ft. to La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries at the College Park Shopping Center in The Woodlands, TX. The site is located just off Interstate 45 and is scheduled to open in July.
Island Associates Real Estate (631-587-5050) brokered the lease of 1.5 acres to Walgreens in Deer Park, NY. The site is located at the intersection of Route 231 and Grand Boulevard and the lease is valued at over $9 million.
Mid-America Real Estate Group (630-954-7300) brokered the lease of 16,200 sq.ft. to Golf Galaxy at Townline Commons in Vernon Hills, IL. The unit is scheduled to open in spring 2001.
Ripco Real Estate Corporation (610-834-8000) brokered the lease of 1,200 sq.ft. to National Cash Advance at Barclay Square Shopping Center in Caln Township, PA.
Sedberry & Associates/ChainLinks Retail Advisors (505-883-3660) leased 108,900 sq.ft. of land to Buca di Beppo on Americas Parkway in Albuquerque, NM. The 8,000 sq.ft. restaurant is scheduled to open in summer 2001 and will be the companys first in NM.
The Ross Realty Group (727-725-2800) brokered the lease of 1,200 sq.ft. to Simply Wireless in St. Petersburg, FL. The lease has a five-year term.
Mid-America Real Estate Group (630-954-7300) brokered the leases for four Murrays Discount Auto Stores in the Chicago, IL area. The sites are located at the intersection of 87th and Dante Street; at Cicero Marketplace in Cicero, IL; at the intersection of North and Humbolt Streets in Humbolt Park, IL and at 79th and Cicero near Ford City.
NYC Realty (201-227-9792) leased three former Rite Aid locations to Family Dollar. The sites are located on Scotland Road in Orange, NJ; Springdale Road in East Orange, NJ and on Woodfield Road in Lakeview, NY.
The Andrew Shedlin Companies, Inc. (847-433-3400) brokered the lease of 3,563 sq.ft. to Finish Line at Security Square Mall in Baltimore, MD. The 1.2 million sq.ft. center is anchored by Old Navy, Burlington Coat Factory, Hechts, JC Penney Outlet Store and Sears.
