The waterfront entertainment center is owned by ORIX Hogan Burt and is anchored by a nine-screen movie and IMAX theater, POP City, G.Elliott’s restaurant, High Jinx and Elements dance clubs and Swim ‘N Sport. Stump’s Supper Club/Howl at the Moon, Charlie’s Crab, Rice Republic and Bearnos will open at the center soon. The Channelside area has become a retail destination for visitors to the Florida Aquarium, Ice Place Arena and the Tampa Convention Center.
JBG Rosenfeld Retail (301-657-0700) is the exclusive leasing agency for the six mixed-use projects developed by the company’s joint venture partner, The JBG Companies. The projects are located in the Washington, DC area and encompass 310,000 sq.ft. of retail space. The centers include: the 27,000 sq.ft. due to open in the fourth quarter of 2001 at Chase Tower in Chevy Chase, MD; the 200,000 sq.ft. at Market Square at Shady Grove in Rockville, MD; the 15,000 sq.ft. at International Place and the 6,000 sq.ft. at 1801 North Lynn in Rosslyn, VA; the 40,000 sq.ft. at Arlington Gateway in Ballston, VA and 22,000 sq.ft. at a project adjacent to the Columbia Hospital for Women in West Washington, DC. |
