Lease Signings


Planned Commercial Development LLC (706-868-7400) signed leases with Bi-Lo and Dollar General in North Aiken SC. The 52 000 sq.ft. center which will open May 2002 has 9 600 sq.ft. of shop space available for lease and four outparcels available for sale.

NewMark Merrill Companies LLC (818-996-0700) signed a 10-year lease with Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for 1 800 sq.ft. at the Anaheim Town Square in Anaheim CA. The center is located at the corner of State College Avenue and Lincoln Boulevard.

Oakmont Capital Resources (407-425-6040) signed a lease for 11 800 sq.ft. with Burke’s Outlet at the Oneco Square Shopping Center in Bradenton FL. The center is located on 15th Street East. The company also signed a lease for 47 360 sq.ft. with Baby D’s Jazz Club at The Fountains Plaza in Bradenton FL. The shopping center is located on 14th Street West. The company also signed a lease for 23 000 sq.ft. with Price Busters at the Lakeview Shopping Center in St. Petersburg FL. The shopping center is located on 34th Street South.

Advantis Real Estate Services Company (757-627-0661) brokered the lease of 18 300 sq.ft. to Cost Plus World Market Inc. and 4 500 sq.ft. to The Mattress Firm at the Northpointe Shopping Center in Durham NC.

Robert B. Aikens & Associates LLC (248-258-2333) brokered the lease of 10 258 sq.ft. to Talbots; 4 078 sq.ft. to The Bombay Company and 3 928 sq.ft. to the Children’s Place at The Village of Rochester Hills a new development in Rochester Hills MI.

Goldschmidt & Associates (914-723-1616) with Newmark New Spectrum co-brokered the lease of 6 500 sq.ft. to Men’s Warehouse on Central Park Avenue in Scarsdale NY. The company with Insignia/ESG also co-brokered the lease of 8 800 sq.ft. to Petals Inc. on Central Park Avenue in Scarsdale NY. The company also brokered a lease to Mascato Italian Restaurant on Scarsdale Avenue in Scarsdale NY.

Santana Row The Heart of Silicon Valley (408-551-4666) signed a lease with CineArts Century Theaters in San Jose CA. The site will house six screens.

IRT Property Company (212-201-6400) signed a lease of 66 857 sq.ft. with Big Lots Inc. at the Shipyard Plaza in Pascagoula MS. Big Lots is expected to open its 42 057 sq.ft. store in the fourth quarter of 2001. The site was formerly occupied by a Delchamps Supermarket.

RJ Waters & Associates Inc. (610-444-8351) signed the following leases: 3 507 sq.ft. to Bravo Pizza and 4 770 sq.ft. to Weichert Real Estate at Fairfield Place in Exton PA; 2 800 sq.ft. to Rent Rite and 1 400 sq.ft. to Memory Lane at Rockland Plaza in Reading PA; 6 864 sq.ft. to Rent-A-Center at Pottstown Plaza in Pottstown PA; 3 669 sq.ft. to Commerce Bank 1 200 sq.ft. to Super Cuts 2 200 sq.ft. to Frankford Associates 86 584 sq.ft. to Kohl’s 54 332 sq.ft. to Giant Food Stores and 30 316 sq.ft. to Marshall’s at the Lakeview Shopping Center in Royersford PA; 8 250 sq.ft. to Fashion Bug at Shoppes of Kissel Village in Lititz PA; and 10 125 sq.ft. to CVS/Pharmacy and 4 000 sq.ft. to Fulton Bank at Shoppes at Jenners Village in Jennersville PA.

Grubb & Ellis San Gabriel Valley (714-939-6034) represented Denise McLaughlin Trust in the signing of a lease of 30 000 sq.ft. to Community Thrift Stores in Covina CA. The site is located on Arrow Highway. The company represented the lessor in the five-year lease of 1 317 sq.ft. to Discount Tobacco Outlet Inc. for $130 034. The site is located on Friars Road in San Diego CA.

Equity Office Properties Trust (312-466-3300) has partnered with CineArts to reopen the Palo Alto Square Theater in Palo Alto CA.

Stiles Retail Group (954-627-9377) signed a lease for 931 sq.ft. with Christensen Yachts and 1 600 sq.ft. with Mind Body & Baby at a mixed-use complex in Ft. Lauderdale FL.

The Grossman Companies Inc. (617-472-2000) signed a lease for 1 200 sq.ft. with Needful Things and 2 310 sq.ft. with First Impressions Salon & Spa at Pembroke Crossing Shopping Plaza in Pembroke MA.

Garrick-Aug Worldwide Ltd. (212-557-9090) brokered a 10-year lease for 2 200 sq.ft. with The Lion & The Lamb Ltd. in New York NY. The site is located at 94th and 95th Streets on the west side of the avenue.

The Ross Realty Group Inc. (727-725-2800) brokered the lease of 2 600 sq.ft. with Jon’s Bridal in Tampa FL. The site is located on East Busch Boulevard.
