Real Estate Professionals Making the News The Macerich Company (310-394-6000) hired Randy Brant as senior vice president of development leasing a newly created position. Brant will work with senior executives in the company’s leasing and real estate departments on shopping center redevelopment projects and on the evaluation of the entire Macerich portfolio for value and the creation of new leasing and redevelopment opportunities. Brant previously served as vice president at E.W. Hahn vice president of western United States for Forest City Enterprises and leasing vice president at Simon Property Group. NewMark Merrill Companies (818-996-0700) hired Gabriel Hernandez as vice president of operations. Hernandez will oversee 45 company assets which represent more than 4 000 000 sq.ft. of retail space and supervise four property managers and two property assistants. Hernandez also will play a role in business developments and acquisitions. He also will lead the company as the primary contact for all client inquiries and oversee all financial reporting and supervise all marketing efforts by the company. Hernandez previously served as assistant vice president of Lowe Enterprises Inc. and senior manager for Key Centers. The Staubach Company (972-361-5000) opened an Orlando corporate services office that will serve the Orlando and Tampa areas. The company also hired Mark Stratman as vice president. Stratman previously served as an associate with Colliers Arnold Orlando. In addition Staubach Retail Services hired Scott Harrington as manager of the southeast region for Cypress Equities the company’s development/acquisition arm. Harrington will be responsible for seeking investment opportunities and provide development services for Staubach Retail Services’ clients in the greater southeast and mid-Atlantic states. Harrington previously served as development partner at Thomas Enterprises. Commercial Retail Advisors LLC (520-290-3200) opened a commercial real estate brokerage office in Tuscon AZ. Craig Finfrock is acting as the managing member and designated broker. Finfrock previously served with Grubb & Ellis Company and Leo Eisenberg Company. Insignia ESG (888-707-3908) hired Linda Cinelli as a director and Jason Burger as an associate. Cinelli and Burger who serve as brokers for Insignia previously served at Century 21.Pace Properties (314-968-9898) hired Denise Chomicki C.P.A. as chief financial officer. |
