Equity Investment Group (404-364-2984) brokered the following leases: 11 908 sq. ft. for a 12-year term to Petland at Pensacola Square Shopping Center in Pensacola FL; 7 000 sq. ft. for a six-year term to Family Dollar at Plaza 66 Shopping Center in Kenneth City FL; 6 700 sq. ft. for a five-year term to Dollar General at Karl Plaza Shopping Center in Columbus OH; 3 000 sq. ft. for a five-year term to Mattress Showcase at Elkhart Plaza West Shopping Center in Elkhart IN; 2 976 sq. ft. for a five-year term to Show Land at Northeast Plaza Shopping Center in Atlanta Georgia; 2 000 sq. ft. for a five-year term to C-K Nails at Springbrook Plaza Shopping Center in Canton OH; 1 750 sq. ft. for a five-year term to Edward Jones at Knox Plaza Shopping Center in Vincennes IN; 1 600 sq. ft. for a term of three years to Pro Nail Shop at Gordon Village Shopping Center in Augusta Georgia; 1 556 sq. ft. for a three-year term to Quality Uniforms at Towne Square North Shopping Center in Owensboro KY; 1 400 sq. ft. for a three-year term to HelpMed at Holly Hill Shopping Center in Holly Hill FL; 1 200 sq. ft. for a four-year term to Nail Tips at K-Mart Plaza in Salem VA

Chainlinks Retail Advisors Inc. (703-821-3994) brokered the following leases with Starbucks’ in CA: 2 100 sq. ft. near the Los Cerritos Mall in Cerritos; 1 400 sq. ft in Norwalk Town Center; 2 000 sq. ft. at the Terra Vista Town Center in Rancho Cucamonga; 1 800 sq. ft. at Cabazon Town Center; 1 600 sq. ft. at Ameriage Town Center in Fullerton; 1 500 sq. ft in downtown Fullerton; 1 500 at the Seal Beach Town Center; 1 800 sq. ft. at a freestanding location in Palmdale.

Legend Properties (856-231-1010) brokered the lease of 4 675 sq.ft. to Lot Stores at Phillipsburg Mall in Phillipsburg NJ. The company also brokered the lease of 4 000 sq.ft. to Ashley Stewart at Eddystone Commons Shopping Center in Eddystone PA. Legend Properties also brokered two leases between Popeye’s and MRO Mid-Atlantic Corporation for freestanding locations on Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia PA and on MacDade Boulevard Ridley Township PA.

The Grossman Companies Inc. (617-472-2000) leased of 8 450 sq.ft. to Dress Barn at Quincy Granite Place in Quincy MA. The site is located at the intersection of Granite St. and Burgin Parkway.

The Cafaro Company (330-747-2661) leased 1 344 sq.ft. to Trade Secret at the Spotsylvania Mall in Fredericksburg VA.

Grubb & Ellis (714-939-6000) brokered the lease of 23 350 sq.ft. to Furniture Superstore at the Ontario Gateway in Ontario CA. The site is located at the northeast corner of Milliken Avenue and 10 Freeway. The company also brokered the lease of 10 405 sq.ft. for a term of 15 years to the Olive Garden at the Burbank Empire Shopping Center in Burbank CA. The site is located the southwest corner of Empire Avenue and 5 Freeway.

The Andrew Shedlin Companies Inc. (847-433-3400) brokered the lease of 532 sq.ft. to Ming Tree in the Security Square Mall. The site is located on Security Boulevard in Baltimore MD and is scheduled to open January of 2002.

KLNB Inc. (410-321-0100) brokered the lease of 113 334 sq.ft. to The RoomStore in Jessup MD. The site is located on Stayton Drive.

Advantis Real Estate Services Company (757-627-0660) brokered the lease of 26 100 sq.ft. to KFC at a freestanding site in Portsmouth VA. The site is located at the intersection of Victory Boulevard and George Washington Highway.

Michael Joseph Development Corporation (724-934-1006) brokered the following leases at The Commons in Dubois PA: 6 000 sq.ft. to Sam Goody; 1 600 sq.ft. to Sally Beauty Supply; 1 600 sq.ft. to Quizno’s; and 1 600 sq.ft. to Village Peddler. The company also brokered the leases of 1 600 sq.ft. to Shane’s Bistro and 1 600 sq.ft. to Centers for Rehab Services at Willowbrook Plaza located at the intersection of Route 51 and State Route 201 in Rostraver Township PA.

IRT Property Company (770-955-4406) leased 42 057 sq.ft. to Big Lots Inc. at Shipyard Plaza in Pascagoula MS.

The Sembler Company (727-384-6000) signed leases with several new stores at Riverside Market Square which is anchored by a 28 000 sq.ft. Publix. Leases for the 46 000 sq.ft. community shopping center were signed with Starbucks Coffee Quizno’s Mail Boxes Etc. and Green Tea Chinese Restaurant. All the stores are scheduled to open Spring 2002.

Divaris Real Estate (757-497-2113) brokered the lease of 2 778 sq.ft. to Education Etc. at Severna Park Marketplace in Severna Park MD. The site is located on Governor Ritchie Highway.
