Mid-Northern Equities, Ltd. is developing a 200,000 sq.ft. center at the intersection of Calumet Avenue and U.S. 30 in Dyer, IN. The first phase of development is expected to open by Spring 2003. Future phases include the addition of four acres of office space and 77 acres of residential development.

Stiles Corp. and Hallmark Partners are developing St. John’s Commons, a 72,000 sq.ft. community shopping center located on County Road 210 in Jacksonville, FL. The center is 63% preleased and will be anchored by a 45,802 sq.ft. Winn Dixie. In addition, there will be two outparcels of 1.26 acres and 1.19 acres. Groundbreaking is slated for the second quarter of 2002 .

Williams Realty Group is developing Emerson Commons in Indianapolis, IN. The 24,900 sq.ft. strip center is located at the signalized intersection of Emerson and Southport and will be tenanted by Jersey Mike’s Subs and Starbucks. Neighboring retailers include SuperTarget, Kittles and Home Depot. Spaces between 1,500 sq.ft. and 7,000 sq.ft. are available, as well as a .088-acre outlot, at an asking rent of $18 psf to $20 psf.

First Interstate Properties, Ltd. is developing Legacy Village on a 67-acre site located at the intersection of Richmond and Cedar Roads in Lyndhurst, OH. The company expects to breakground in September on the 650,000 sq.ft. upscale shopping center, which will have a main street theme. Completion is slated for October 2003. The center will be anchored by Crate & Barrel and The Container Store. Other tenants will include Expo Design Center and Galyan’s. Area demographics include a population of 99,405 residing in a three-mile radius earning an average household income of $65,462. The average daily traffic count at the site is 65,822 vehicles. Edens & Avant is redeveloping and expanding the 312,928 sq.ft. Florence Mall in Florence, SC. The first phase of the redevelopment is expected to be complete during the Fall.
