Lease Signings Rappaport Management Co. (703-205-6467) brokered a lease with Grooves and Gantner at Towers Shopping Center in Roanoke, VA. Grooves leased a space of 920 sq.ft. next to Heartland Bread Co., Ganter, a swim wear and dance wear shop, leased a space of 6,471 sq.ft. next to Dollar Tree. Forrest Properties (847-367-8230) signed a lease with Egg Harbor Café at The Glen Gateway Shoppes of The Glen in Glenview, IL. The restaurant will occupy a space of 4,000 sq.ft. in the shopping center and is expected open in Spring 2003. Futterman & Associates (212-599-3700) represented Sisley, Benetton Kids and Clio Blue in the lease signings with AOL Time Warner Center in New York, NY. The retailers will join apparel stores Joseph Abboud, Cole Haan, Hugo Boss, A/X Armani Exchange, J. Crew and Eileen Fisher at the 364,000 sq.ft. center. Insignia/ESG (215-561-8792) announced Borders Group, Inc. has signed a lease for 26,876 sq.ft. at One South Broad Street in Philadelphia, PA. The book store is expected to move into its new location in November. Borders will be located across the street from the Ritz Carlton Hotel. The Sansone Group (314-727-6664) represented Nationwide Life Insurance Company in the leasing of 1,750 sq.ft. to River City Foods, Inc. at Mid Rivers Center in St. Louis, MO. Levin Management Corp. (201-796-7788) negotiated the lease of 21,000 sq.ft. for Great Farmers Market at 1260 Park Avenue in South Plainfield, NJ. The supermarket will occupy the former Acme store located in the center. Demographics include a population of 288,000 within five miles earning $94,000 as the average household income. Divaris Real Estate (757-333-4342) brokered the leasing of 2,655 sq.ft. to Chico’s FAS at the La Promenade Shopping Center in Virginia Beach, VA. Chico’s will cotenant with Talbots, Williams Sonoma, Jos A. Bank, Aldo’s Restaurant and DM Williams. Divaris Real Estate also represented Adler Family L.P. in the leasing of 6,000 sq.ft. to Lifestyles USA, Inc. in the former Big and Tall Store located at 5989 East Virginia Beach Boulevard in Norfolk, VA. The Goldstein Group (201-703-9700) brokered leases in Morris Plains, Clifton and Brick with Atlanta Bread Co.Baum Realty Group (312-751-2121) completed the following lease transactions: 1,400 sq.ft. for Starbucks at three locations in Chicago, IL; 1,544 sq.ft. for Cingular Wireless at 558 West Diversey in Chicago, IL; two Jared The Galleria of Jewelry stores; one is located at Fountain Square of Lombard in Lombard, IL and the other is located in Madison, WI; Omaha Steaks signed a lease on Harlem Avenue in Oak Park, IL; 3,200 sq.ft. for Boston Market at Randhurst Crossing in Mt. Prospect, IL; 2,800 sq.ft. for Panda Express at 209 West Jackson in Chicago, IL; 3,800 sq.ft. for Lionfish Zushi at the former Artie’s on Skokie Boulevard in Northbrook, IL; 1,200 sq.ft. for GNC at 127 South Clinton Street in Chicago, IL and 4,200 sq.ft. for The Little Gym at The Glen in Glenview, IL.Mid-America Real Estate-Wisconsin (414-273-4600) brokered a lease with Auto Club Insurance Association for 2,469 sq.ft. of space at Pine Tree Plaza, located at 2900 Deerfield Road in Janesville, WI. Hingerfeld Realty Co. (570-207-8387) brokered the leasing of the 31,000 sq.ft. former Heilig Meyers Furniture Showroom at 75 Morgan Highway in Scranton to Giant Floor and Wall Co. |
