Lease Signings


Insite Commercial Group/TCN Worldwide (248-359-9000) signed leases totaling 7,700 sq.ft. at Commerce Park in Commerce Township, MI. The leases were executed by Leo’s Coney Island, Subway, Curves for Women and Quality Cleaners.

Mall Properties, Inc. (212-935-1330) signed a lease for Zeagler’s Music at Sieglen Lane Marketplace in Baton Rouge, LA. The shopping center is located at the intersection of Interstate 10 and Sieglen Lane. The 400-acre power/mixed-use development is anchored by Wal*Mart Supercenter, Sam’s Club, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Bed Bath & Beyond, Old Navy, T.J. Maxx, Books A Million, Marriott Residence, Marriott Courtyard, Cinemark Theaters, Joe’s Crabshack and Chili’s.

The Rappaport Cos. (571-382-1200) represented Springfield Plaza in the leasing of 10,673 sq.ft. to Trader Joe’s. The shopping center is located at the intersection of Old Keene Road and Commerce Street in Springfield, VA. Trader Joe’s, which is expected to open early next year, will be located next to Canton Café, in the former Petco space. The shopping center is anchored by CVS Pharmacy, Mars Music and Gateway Country.

Goldschmidt & Associates (914-723-1616) has leased 2,700 sq.ft. at the CVS-Route 6 Plaza in Mohegan Lake, NY to The Dollar Saver. The shopping center is currently 94% leased, with 3,375 sq.ft. available. The center is cotenanted by Verizon, Charlie Brown’s, Subway, Valet Cleaners and Mohegan Lighting.

Flocke & Avoyer Commercial Real Estate (619-280-2600) represented Russo Properties in a 1,306 sq.ft. lease with Quizno’s at the Campus Plaza Shopping Center. The center is located at 6083 El Cajon Boulevard in San Diego, CA. The lease is for 10 years and a consideration of $404,239. The company also represented ET Corp. in the leasing of 2,214 sq.ft. with Cavian Beads at Prospect Plaza Shopping Center located at 909 Prospect Place in La Jolla, CA. The lease is for two years and a consideration of $137,681.

Neal Realty & Investments, Inc. (954-568-0530) announced the following lease transactions: 6,150 sq.ft. to Inglesia De Jesus Christo at Tanglewood Plaza, located at the intersection of Pines Boulevard and 96th Avenue in Pembroke Pines, FL; and 1,800 sq.ft. with Office Machine at Charcoal Plaza located at the intersection of Commercial Boulevard and University Drive in Lauderhill, FL.

Terranova Corp. (305-358-8700) signed a 10-year lease with Carrabba’s Italian Grill for an aggregate rent in excess of $1 million. The 6,669 sq.ft. restaurant will open in the Pompano Marketplace at 1251 South Federal Highway in Pompano, FL. The 220,000 sq.ft. shopping center, which is 86% occupied, is anchored by Winn-Dixie, Jo-Ann’s Fabrics, Stein Mart, and Baer’s Furniture Outlet.

Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (757-497-2113) signed the following leases at Crossways Shopping Center, located at 1412 Greenbrier Parkway in Chesapeake, VA: 4,100 sq.ft. with Panera Bread; 30,000 sq.ft. with T.J. Maxx and 3,541 sq.ft. with The Vitamin Shoppe. The stores will join Ross ‘Dress for Less’, DSW Shoe Warehouse, Marshalls, Starbucks, Value City Furniture and Dress Barn.

NAI Horizon Commercial Real Estate Services (702-796-8888) handled the following lease transactions: 21,500 sq.ft. for five years with Part Time Rentals, Inc. at 4725 South Valley View in Las Vegas, NV and 1,500 sq.ft. for five years with Quizno’s Classic Subs at Victory Village Shopping Center, located at the intersection of Boulder Highway and Lake Mead, NV.

Global Business Alliance, Inc. (407-383-7182) negotiated the following lease transactions: 1,050 sq.ft. to Bamboo Wok at the Publix-anchored Berry Town Center in Davenport, FL; 8,759 sq.ft. to Good Fortune Buffet at the former Buddy Freddy restaurant located at 8232 SR 52 in Hudson, FL; and 10,400 sq.ft. to International King Buffet at the former Picadilly restaurant at 9061 College Parkway in Fort Myers, FL.

Friedman Real Estate Group, Inc. (248-848-4150) represented Footaction in the leasing of 3,650 sq.ft. at Fairlane Meadows in Dearborn, MI. The company also represented Quizno’s in the leasing of 1,800 sq.ft. at 26517 Ford Road in Dearborn Heights, MI and 4,800 sq.ft. for 11 years with Raphael USA Co. at Hatherly Commons located at 3747 East Mile Road in Sterling Heights, MI.

Staubach Retail Services (972-361-5063) represented Lonestar Antiques in the leasing of 36,000 sq.ft. at 6601 Northeast Loop 820 in North Richland Hills, TX. The new store is the second location for the antiques retailer.
