Lease Signings Finard & Co., LLC (781-273-5555) completed the following lease transactions: 65,192 sq.ft. to Bob’s Discount of Cranston at 1141 Elmwood Avenue in Cranston, RI; 1,360 sq.ft. to Fantastic Sams at the Centre at Hudson in Hudson, MA; 3,159 sq.ft. to Boston Tan Co. at the Stop & Shop-anchored Natick 9/27 in Natick, MA and 1,716 sq.ft. to Finch’s Carpet Coverings at the 157,000 sq.ft. Goffstown Plaza in Goffstown, NH. Excess Space Disposition (516-365-6400) completed the following transactions: Jiffy Lube subleased 1,700 sq.ft. to Columbia Tire Center at 9830 Ferguson Road in Dallas, TX; Bi-LO subleased 34,000 sq.ft. to G.B. Shoes Greenville at 3620 Pelham Road in Greenville, SC; Chief Auto subleased 5,400 sq.ft. to Cavender Boots at 2602-A Kemp Boulevard in Wichita Falls, TX; Walgreens subleased 24,225 sq.ft. to Jae Kyoun Choi at 1645 King Street in Decatur, IL; Auto subleased 2,200 sq.ft. to Plus Laundry at 14835 Pioneer in Norwalk , CA and Winn-Dixie subleased 35,922 sq.ft. to World Indoor Sports, Inc. at 667 SE Main Street in Simpsonville, SC. Forrest Properties, Inc. (847-367-8230) signed a lease with Egg Harbor Café at The Glen Gateway Shoppes in Glenview, IL. The restaurant will occupy a space of 4,000 sq.ft. in the north building of the shopping center and is expected to open during late Spring 2003. The chain currently operates 10 locations throughout the Chicago, IL area.First Interstate Properties (216-765-1065) has signed leases with Ann Taylor Loft, Coldwater Creek and Coldstone Creamery at Legacy Village in Lyndhurst, OH. The stores will join Galyan’s Trading Co., EXPO Design Center, The Cheesecake Factory, Crate & Barrel, Talbots, California Pizza Kitchen, BRIO, Z Gallerie, Atria’s Restaurant and Tavern and Stir Crazy in the 615,000 sq.ft. lifestyle center, which is expected to open during October 2003. Michael A. Pollack Real Estate Investments (480-888-0888) signed a 22,390 sq.ft. lease for 99 Cents Only Store at the 39,260 sq.ft. Glendale Central Center located at 5340-5346 West Glendale Avenue in Glendale, AZ. The Woodmont Co. (214-979-0430) signed leases with Cato stores in the following locations: 4,000 sq.ft. at Pflugerville Road East Shopping Center in Pflugerville, TX; 4,095 sq.ft. at Garland Towne Center in Garland, TX; and 4,250 sq.ft. at Grand Prairie Shopping Center in Grand Prairie, TX. The store is expected to open during March 2003. Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (757-497-2113) leased 3,000 sq.ft. to Playaz Gear at Victory Crossing Shopping Center located at 4130 Victory Boulevard in Portsmouth, VA. The store, specializing in branded urban wear clothing and accessories, will cotenant with Pizza Hut and T Mobile. The company also signed a lease with Ross ‘Dress for Less’ for 30,000 sq.ft. at Crossways Shopping Center located at 1412 Greenbrier Parkway in Chesapeake, VA. The shopping center is cotenanted by DSW Shoe Warehouse, Marshalls, Value City Furniture and Dress Barn. The company also signed a lease with Mid Atlantic Rental of VA, Inc. for 4,957 sq.ft. of space in Newmarket Square shopping center, located at 36 Newmarket Square South in Newport News, VA. The center is cotenanted by Food Lion, The Dump, Sally Beauty Supply, Rent-A-Center, Newport News Outlet and Hampton Roads School of Technology.The Feil Organization (212-563-6557) signed a 3,200 sq.ft. lease with North Fork Bank at Seven Penn Plaza in New York, NY. The 400,000 sq.ft. project is located at 370 Seventh Avenue between 30th and 31st Streets. Grubb & Ellis/Harrison-Bates (804-788-1000) signed a 15,000 sq.ft. lease with Richmond Goodwill Industries at 8018 West Broad Street in Henrico County, VA. The building is located in front of the Ukrop-anchored Fountain Square Shopping Center. Terrabrook and Boston Properties, Inc. (617-236-3300) signed the following leases at Reston Town Center in Reston, VA: 5,826 sq.ft. to Penang Malaysian restaurant; 5,178 sq.ft. to Artcraft; 3,361 sq.ft. to Salon Nordine and Day Spa and 2,527 sq.ft. to Soho Gourmet. Equity One, Inc. (305-947-1664) signed a 41,000 sq.ft. lease with Stein Mart for the former Jacobson’s Department Store space at Oakbrook Square Shopping Center in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The company also signed a 45,000 sq.ft. lease with LA Fitness Sports Clubs in conjunction with the development of the last phase of the Shops at Skylake Shopping Center in North Miami Beach, FL. The 114,000 sq.ft. development is expected to be completed during the fourth quarter of 2003. Goodman Real Estate Services Group LLC (216-378-0066) leased 2,286 sq.ft. to 3 Day Blinds at Creekwood Commons located in Mentor, OH. The store is expected to open during January 2003. The 195,876 sq.ft. center is anchored by Kohl’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Borders Books & Music. |
