Lease Signings Ramco-Gersheson Properties Trust (248-350-9900) signed a lease with Bed Bath & Beyond to build a home furnishings store at its Jackson Crossing Shopping Center in Jackson, MI. Bed, Bath & Beyond joins Kohl’s, Target, Sears, Best Buy and Toys "R" Us as anchors at the 650,000 sq.ft. center. Jackson Crossing Shopping Center is located on West Road at the intersection of the I-94 and U.S 127 expressways. Colliers Arnold Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc. (727-442-7184) negotiated the seventh lease for Panera Bread in the Bay area of FL at The Village Center, located at 13100 Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa, FL. The Daniel Group LLC (410-435-4300) brokered lease agreements with six retailers at the Fort Steuben Mall in Steubenville, OH, totaling more than 15,000 sq.ft. These include: 2,000 sq.ft. to Spencer’s Gifts, 5,000 sq.ft. to Shoebilee, Christopher & Banks, 1,800 sq.ft. to Kay’s Jewelers, 1,700 sq.ft. to Electronic Boutique and 1,700 sq.ft. to Regis. The 820,000 sq.ft. center is located on I-22.Mid-America Asset Management, Inc. (630-954-7300) brokered the lease for 20,750 sq.ft. at Iroquois Center in Naperville, IL to Asia World International. ReMax was the co-broker. Mid-America Asset Management, Inc. also brokered three lease transactions in Kenosha, WI: 960 sq.ft. in Williams Corner, located at the intersection of Interstate 94 and Highway 50, to a cellular communications retail store and 1,200 sq.ft. in Williams Corner to a hair salon. Polacheck was the co-broker. The company also leased 2,111 sq.ft. at Greenwich Place located at the intersection of 104th Street and Highway 50, to Subway. Mid-America Asset Management, Inc. brokered four lease transactions at LaGrange Crossing in LaGrange, IL: 9,005 sq.ft. to Pier I Imports, and Metro Commercial was the co-broker; 1,167 sq.ft. to Cingular Wireless, and CB Richard Ellis represented the tenant and 3,240 sq.ft. to Corner Bakery, and Mid-America also represented the tenant. The company also brokered the lease of 2,115 sq.ft. at 5 South LaGrange Road to The Art Stop. First Realty Investment Trust (408-551-4666) has signed a lease with Torneau in Santana Row, a 580,000 sq.ft. mixed-use center in San Jose, CA scheduled to open this August. The upscale watch store will join Bottega Veneta, New Balance, Gucci and Crate & Barrel. JBG Rosenfeld Retail (301-657-0700) negotiated a letter of intent with Starbucks Coffee Co. for 1,700 sq.ft. at 3000 Connecticut Avenue in the Woodley Park section of Washington, DC. The space formerly housed the Animal Cracker Cafe. JBG Rosenfeld Retail also brokered the lease for a 4,500 sq.ft. freestanding building formerly occupied by Black Eyed Pea to Rhodeside Grill. JBG Rosenfeld Retail negotiated the lease for the landlord and Papadoupolos Properties co-brokered the transaction. Prudential DicksonHughes Commercial Services (317-471-2000) co-brokered the lease for 2,400 sq.ft. at Crooked Creek Shoppes located on Michigan Road in Indianapolis, IN to Banura’s Greek Restaurant. The Weitzman Group (713-868-9961) brokered a lease for 4,560 sq.ft. at Northstar Plaza, located at the intersection of Buckingham and Garland Roads in Garland, TX, for Liquidation Station. United Commercial Realty was the co-broker. The Staubach Co. (972-361-5023) leased 10,000 sq.ft. at Redbird Hill in Dallas, TX to Tuesday Morning, a discount home good retailer. The company also leased 9,000 sq.ft. at Gig Harbor North in Gig Harbor, WA to Pier 1 Imports. The Grossman Companies, Inc. (617-472-2000) signed the lease for 42,000 sq.ft. at the Town Centre Plaza in Seekonk, MA, for Ann & Hope Garden Outlet, Smart Buy Outlet and Curtain & Bath Outlet, all units of Ann & Hope discount stores.Diamante Property Services (623-876-8198) leased 1,200 sq.ft. in its Crossroads Town Center to a tanning salon, bringing occupancy to 98%. The center is located in the community of Surprise at the intersection of 123rd Avenue and Bell near Phoenix, AZ. The company also signed leases for Pizza Hut and Tag Team for 1,300 sq.ft. and 1,200 sq.ft. respectively, in their Sun Shadow Square located in Sun City, AZ. The 100,000 sq.ft. center, located at the intersection of 99th Avenue and Bell is now 95% occupied.CB Richard Ellis (602-735-5555/714-939-2100) brokered the lease for 4,045 sq.ft. at the Village at Desert Ridge located at the intersection of Loop 101 and Tatum Boulevard in north Phoenix, AZ, to Scorch Nightclub. Already committed are Hot Topic clothing store, Fatburger Restaurant and Starbucks, among others. The 350,000 sq.ft. center is the centerpiece of the Desert Ridge Marketplace, a 110-acre lifestyle center combining retail, entertainment and dining. The company also brokered the relocation of 24 Hour Fitness in Brea, CA. The fitness center will move from 910 East Birch Street to a 37,000 sq.ft. location at 965 East Birch Street in the Brea Marketplace. The new location will open this Summer. Starwood Urban Investments LLC (202-478-4600) brokered five leases at the Miracle Mile retail area in Coral Gables, FL. Leases include: 3,000 sq.ft. to Baja Fresh; 4,100 sq.ft. to Atlanta Bread Co.; 208 Miracle Mile to Jamba Juice; 1,700 sq.ft. to Kathi Rich and 360 Miracle Mile to Roche-Bobois, the firm’s second Coral Gables location. Felenstein Koniver Stern Realty co-brokered the agreements. HSA Commercial Real Estate (312-332-3555) brokered leases on four retail properties in suburban Chicago, IL. The transactions include 1,720 sq.ft. in Homewood to Pizza Hut; 7,421 sq.ft. in Fox Lake to Pizza Hut; 1,216 sq.ft. at Olde Towne Square in Chicago to Mail Boxes Etc. and 756 sq.ft. at Oak Lawn Shopping Center to Mail Boxes Etc., which was co-brokered by Riwala Real Estate. Divaris Real Estate Inc. (757-497-2113) leased 4,000 sq.ft. to Jennifer Convertibles at the Pennmar Shopping Center located in Forrestville, MD. The furniture store joins Burlington Coat Factory, Marshalls and Super Fresh. |
