Urban Retail Properties Co. (312-915-3493) appointed R. Webber Hudson as the company’s new president of leasing. Hudson will be in charge of the leasing and marketing for Urban’s portfolio of more than 41 million sq.ft. of retail space. Hudson most recently led one of Urban’s most productive regions, as he oversaw a portfolio of 19 properties totaling 10 million sq.ft. Hudson joined Urban in 1993 and was named leasing manager in 1995.

Brandt Retail Group, Inc. (513-984-0800) hired Andrew Feinblatt as a sales associate. Feinblatt will focus on the disposition of surplus properties for clients and leasing services for retail projects listed by the company. Prior to joining Brandt, Feinblatt served as a senior sales representative for Central Steel & Wire Company.

UDO Real Estate Ltd. (818-784-4811) appointed Kim D. Sims as assistant director of leasing. Previously, Sims represented and worked with national, regional and local retailers, such as Rite-Aid, American Stores, Kragen Auto Parts, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Staples, Payless Shoes, Waldenbooks, Panda Express and Clothestime. The company also acquired the property management division of Porterfield Commercial Real Estate, which will continue as a leasing and brokerage company. As part of this transaction, Elizabeth Cangelosi and Javier Gonzalez were named co-presidents at UDO Management Ltd., the property management arm of the company.
