Lease Signings

Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (757-497-2113) brokered leases of 2,400 sq.ft. with Kwik Kopy and of 26,537 sq.ft. with Big Lots Stores at Midlothian Crossing in Richmond, VA, located at 8531 Midlothian Turnpike. The company also brokered leases with Creations by Margo Lynn, Inc. for 2,400 sq.ft. at the Coliseum Square Shopping Center in Hampton, VA.

Sansone Group (314-727-6664) represented Nationwide Life Insurance Company in the leasing of 1,400 sq.ft. to Sally Beauty Company, Inc. at the Mid Rivers Center in St. Peter’s, MO.

Sigma National, Inc. (804-320-6100) brokered the following leases: 2,400 sq.ft for Atlantic Tanning at Bermuda Crossroads in Chester, VA; 4,800 sq.ft. for Movie Gallery at Victory Crossing in Portsmouth, VA; 3,800 sq.ft. for Movie Gallery at Chesapeake Square in Olney, VA; 1,200 sq.ft. for Hair Cuttery at Bermuda Crossroads Marketplace in Chester, VA; 4,000 sq.ft. for CiCi’s Pizza at Commonwealth Centre II in Richmond, VA; 1,600 sq.ft. for American Family Fitness Center at Winterpock Crossing Shopping Center in Midlothian, VA and 1,600 sq.ft. to Advance American at Bermuda Crossroads in Chester, VA.

The Cafaro Co. (330-747-2661) signed a lease for 4,697 sq.ft. with Dr. M’s at the Spotsylvania Mall in Fredericksburg, VA. The company also signed a lease at the Governor’s Square Mall in Clarksville, TN with Aeropostale. The clothing store will occupy 3,660 sq.ft. The company also signed a lease for King’s Jewelry at the Millcreek Mall in Erie, PA. The jewelry store will occupy a space of 1,089 sq.ft.

Winick Realty Group (212-792-2600) negotiated two leases at 42 West 56th Street in New York, NY: 1,500 sq.ft. to Subway and 700 sq.ft. to NumberWorks. The company also brokered two leases at West 34th Street in New York: 1,000 sq.ft. to Subway and 2,800 sq.ft. to B&B Gym. In addition, the company secured three leases for Pret A Manger in New York at 135 West 50th Street, 215 East 42nd Street and 75 Nassau Street. A 20-year lease at One Metrotech Center in Brooklyn, NY was negotiated by the company for Outback Steakhouse. In NJ, the company brokered the following leases: 4,300 sq.ft. to Blockbuster at 17-61 River Road in Fairlawn; 8,250 sq.ft. to Outback Steakhouse for a 10-year term at 455 Harmon Meadow Boulevard and 4,500 sq.ft. to Blockbuster for a five-year term at Jackson Plaza Shopping Center in Ocean County.

CB Richard Ellis (714-939-2209) brokered the following lease transactions: 5,300 sq.ft. to United Retail for the operation of their Avenue stores on 1337 South Harbor Boulevard in Fullerton, CA. The lease was for a term of 12 years with a total consideration of $1,251,070; Crazy 5 Clothing in the leasing of 2,400 sq.ft. at Santa Cruz Plaza in Tucson, AZ; and J.W. Tumbles leasing of 2,175 sq.ft. at Plaza Escondida in Tucson, AZ.

Colliers Arnold Commercial Real Estate Services (813-221-2290) negotiated a lease of 18,000 sq.ft. with Lifestyle Families Fitness Centers in the Countryside Mall in Clearwater, FL. The mall is anchored by Dillards, Burdines, Sears and JCPenney.

Edens & Avant (1-800-662-7212) signed leases with Atlanta Bread Co., Shoe Carnival and Sprint PCS. The tenants will join T.J. Maxx in the company’s $10 million redevelopment and expansion of Florence Mall in Florence, SC. The Atlanta Bread Co. signed a lease for 4,500 sq.ft., Shoe Carnival signed a lease for 8,000 sq.ft. and Sprint PCS took 2,550 sq.ft.

The Katsias Company (757-490-3585) brokered six leases with the following stores at the Holland Plaza in Virginia Beach, VA: 472 sq.ft. to El Mesquite Leather Apparel; 800 sq.ft. to Family Fun Hot Tubs; 1,176 sq.ft. to R&R Wireless; 1,600 sq.ft. to Curves for Women; 1,600 sq.ft. to La Boca Restaurant; 5,000 sq.ft. to Sunday’s Tanning and 1,500 sq.ft. at the Las Gaviotas Shopping Center in Chesapeake, VA to Subway.

Mid-America Asset Management, Inc. (630-954-7300) brokered the following leases: 2,757 sq.ft. to Noodles & Co.; 2,955 sq.ft. to Chipotle in La Grange, IL; 1,347 sq.ft to Coach’s Subs & Salads at Nelson Plaza in New Lenox, IL; 4,095 sq.ft. to Rockler Woodworking & Hardware at Tinley Park Plaza in Tinley Park, IL; 2,062 sq.ft to Asian Essence at Town Square Wheaton in Wheaton, IL; 30,840 sq.ft. to Bally Total Fitness leased at Villa Oaks in Villa Park, IL; 1,560 sq.ft. to Subway at Stratford Plaza in Bloomingdale, IL; 1,350 sq.ft. to Nails 4 U at Westridge Court in Naperville, IL; and 1,152 sq.ft. to Quizno’s Subs at Garden Market in Western Springs, IL.

CB Richard Ellis (520-323-5117) represented P & C Trust in the leasing of 11,005 sq.ft. to Twice as Nice at 3040 North Campbell Avenue in Tucson, AZ. The resale clothing retail store is relocating from 2850 East Speedway Boulevard.

H & R Retail (703-356-8230) brokered a lease of 11,911 sq.ft. with Sports Zone at City Places in Silver Spring, MD from City Place LP. Royal Beauty Salon leased 1,790 sq.ft. from Honolulu, Limited at the Woodmoor Shopping Center in Baltimore, MD. Subway leased 904 sq.ft. from Transwestern Commercial in Washington, DC. Smoothie King leased 858 sq.ft. from Taubman Properties, LLC in Towson, MD. Potbelly Sandwich Works leased 1,500 sq.ft. from DRI Partners, Inc. in Fairfax, VA.

Insignia Thalhimer (757-596-2897) leased an 1.4 acre outparcel to Brinker Virginia, Inc. at Red Mill Commons in Virginia Beach, VA. Brinker plans to build a Chili’s Grill & Bar at Red Mill Commons, which is anchored by Super Wal*Mart and Home Depot.

Crosland, Inc. (704-844-3904) leased 40,000 sq.ft. at the Rea Village Shopping Center in Charlotte, NC to Harris Teeter.

Bryason Realty Corp. (630-954-7300) leased 1,410 sq.ft to Quizno’s Classic Subs for 10 years and 900 sq.ft. to King’s Discount Pharmacy for five years at Hagen Ranch Commons Shopping Center in West Boynton Beach, FL.

Churchhill & Banks, LTD (401-521-2700) leased 30,000 sq.ft. to Marshalls on the eastern end of Lincoln Mall and 25,780 sq.ft. to Ocean State Job Lot in the former Almacs building in Providence, RI.

Goldschmidt & Associates (914-723-1616) brokered two leases totaling 12,330 sq.ft. at the Orangetown Shopping Center in Orangeburg, NY. Goldschmidt leased a space of 7,600 sq.ft to a supermarket and a space of 4,760 sq.ft to an Indian restaurant.

Legend Properties, Inc. (215-599-0312) brokered leases with Starabilias, Horn & Hardart, Bath Junkie and TCBY at the Trump Properties Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ.

The Goldstein Group (201-703-9700) brokered leases for Pierre Deux in Millburn, NJ; JL Hammett Learning in Springfield, NJ; Newborn Necessities in West Orange, NJ; Radio Shack in North Brunswick, NJ; Shake a Paw Pet Store in Paramus, NJ and Wayne Diamonds in Wayne, NJ.
