Grubb & Ellis Co. is leasing Chesterfield Square, a 300,000 sq.ft. community center located at the intersection of Slauson and Western Avenues in Los Angeles, CA with a daily traffic count of 60,000 vehicles. Area demographics include a population of 1,104,544 within three miles earning $35,165 as the average household income. The company also is leasing the Del Oro Marketplace, a 78,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of College and Oceanside Boulevard in Oceanside, CA with a daily traffic count of 135,100 vehicles. The center will be anchored by McDonald’s, Armstrong Garden Centers, Panda Express, Bruegger’s Bagels, Aarons Rents, Quiznos and a full-service car wash. The developer has obtained approvals for a full-service restaurant on a pad site for up to 10,000 sq.ft. Nearby retailers include Albertson’s, Ralph’s, Longs, Sav-On, Starbucks and Blockbuster Video. The 400-acre Ocean Ranch Corporate Center and the 154-acre Rancho Del Oro Technology Park also are nearby.

Stiles Corp. is developing Deerwood Lake Commons, a 67,521 sq.ft center located at the intersection of Southside Boulevard and Touchton Road in Jacksonville, FL in a joint venture with Hallmark Partners.
