Lease Signings


Jim Wilson & Associates (334-260-2500) signed a lease with Dillard’s to anchor The Shoppes at EastChase in Montgomery, AL. Dillard’s is expected to begin construction on the 200,000 sq.ft. store in December with an opening slated for November 2003. The Shoppes at EastChase encompasses a land area of 330 acres and is located between Taylor Road and Chantily Parkway in East Montgomery. The center will be cotenanted by Williams-Sonoma, Banana Republic, Hollisters, Abercrombie & Fitch, Buckle, Cache, Chico’s, Cold Stone Creamery, Crepes Egg-Setera, Kinnucan’s, Great American Cookie, Strasburg Children, American Eagle Outfitters, Bath & Body Works, Books-A-Million, Casual Corner/Petite Sophisticate, Champs, Claire’s Boutique, GAP, GAPKids, Kirklands, LaJolla, The Children’s Place and Victoria’s Secret.

Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (804-643-4700) brokered a lease with Dollar General for a space of 9,100 sq.ft. at Woodlawn Village Shopping Center in Fredericksburg, VA. Dollar General will cotenant with Food Lion, Movie Time and Little Ceasar’s. Divaris also brokered a lease for a space of 10,893 sq.ft. with My Organic Market at Mount Vernon Village Center in Alexandria, VA. My Organic Market joins CVS and Blockbuster as cotenants.

Urban Development Organization, LTD. (818-784-4811) announced the following lease transactions: 14,500 sq.ft. for Walgreens at Berkley Square in Covina, CA; Jack-in-the-Box signed a 20-year lease at Flair Plaza in El Monte, CA; Papa John’s signed a five-year lease in a Wal*Mart anchored center in Lancaster, CA; Children’s Place signed a 15-year lease at Belmont Shores in Long Beach, CA; and 4,000 sq.ft. with Rent A Center at Wiest Plaza in Los Angeles, CA.

Finard & Co., LLC (781-273-5555) brokered a lease with Plaster Fun Time, an interactive children’s purchase and paint theme store, for 2,000 sq.ft. in the Natick 9/27 Shopping Center located at the intersection of Routes 9 and 27 in Natick, MA. The 84,089 sq.ft. center is anchored by Super Stop & Shop. Cotenants include CVS, Mail Boxes Etc., Haircuts, Ltd., Photo Quick and Garber Travel.

The Cafaro Co. (330-747-2661) signed leases at the following malls: 1,801 sq.ft. for Velocity at Ohio Valley Mall in St. Clairsville, OH; 21,700 sq.ft. for A Furniture & Bedding Showcase at the Northwest Plaza in Muncie, IN; Rural King Supply at Maplecrest Plaza in Kokomo, IN, and 1,730 sq.ft. for Journey’s at the Kentucky Oaks Mall in Paducah, KY.

The Greenberg Group, Inc. (516-295-0406) served as the exclusive agent to Lacoste in the following lease transactions: North Park Center in Dallas, TX; Tysons Galleria in McLean, VA; Houston Galleria in Houston, TX; Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise, FL and Mall at Millenia in Orlando, FL.

CB Richard Ellis (561-295-0406) brokered the following leases: 2,450 sq.ft. to Uniform Authority, Inc. in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and 10,000 sq.ft. to Bright Horizons Children’s Centers, Inc. in Lantana, FL.

Equity Investment Group (404-364-2984) brokered the following leases: 41,747 sq.ft. of space for five years with Goodwill at Newmarket South Shopping Center in Newport News, VA; 40,117 sq.ft. of space for six years with Big Lots at Northridge Shopping Center in Milwaukee, WI; 17,248 sq.ft. of space with Fred’s at New Market South, in Aiken SC; 7,840 sq.ft. of space with Aarons Rents at Bristol Plaza in Bristol, PA; 6,200 sq.ft. of space for five years with Mass Discount at Holyoke Shopping Center in Holyoke, MA; 5,050 sq.ft. of space for five years with Putters Paradise at Morristown Plaza in Morristown, TN; 2,720 sq.ft. of space for four years with NAMCO Pool at Bristol Plaza in Bristol, PA; 2,439 sq.ft. of space for one year with As Seen on TV at Morristown Plaza in Morristown, TN; 1,465 sq.ft. of space for four years with Family Dollar at Sunshine Square in Medford, NY and 1,400 sq.ft. of space with Check Into Cash at South Park in Aiken, SC.

Staubach Retail Services (972-361-5063) brokered a lease for a space of 23,018 sq.ft. with Barnes & Noble at Valley Bend at Jones Farm Shopping Center located at the intersection of Four Mile Post Road and Carl T. Jones Drive in Huntsville, AL.

JBG Rosenfield Retail (240-605-8348) brokered a lease for a space of 5,800 sq.ft. with Meiwah Restaurant at Chase Tower in Chevy Chase, MD. Meiwah will join Panera Bread, Chipotle Mexican Grill, My Eye Doctor and Georgetown Valet in the 27,000 sq.ft. center.

Goodman Real Estate Services Group LLC (216-378-0066) brokered leases for seven locations in northern OH with Deal$ Nothing Over a Dollar. The stores are located in Akron, Canton, Elyria, Medina, Mentor, Niles and Boardman, OH. Additional sites are sought throughout northern OH.
