Name Brands Inc. trades as NBC Name Brand Clothing at 16 locations in AR, KS, MO, NE, OK and TX. The stores occupy spaces of 8,000 sq.ft. to 20,000 sq.ft. in freestanding locations and strip and value centers. Plans call for two openings with opportunities sought in AL, CO, IA, KS, LA, MO, NM and TX during the coming 18 months. Typical leases run three to five years and a vanilla shell is required. Preferred demographics include a population of 75,000 residing withing a five-mile radius earning an average household income of $35,000. The company cites T.J. Maxx as competition.
