Pliskin Realty and Development (516-997-0100) is representing a nail salon chain that is seeking spaces in supermarket or drug store anchored strip centers throughout NJ. The company prefers spaces of 1,200 sq.ft., but will consider spaces ranging from 800 sq.ft. to 2,200 sq.ft.

Katz & Associates (845-735-6666) is exclusively representing Harry and David. The company is handling the fruit gift retailer’s retail real estate transactions in regional strip and lifestyle centers. Priority markets for immediate expansion are in the northeast and west, secondary markets are in the midwest and southeast. Locations from 1,800 sq.ft. to 2,400 sq.ft., with a minimum frontage of 25 feet, are sought.

Anchor Associates Inc. (516-767-9331) is representing Dollar Department Store, which is seeking spaces of 20,000 sq.ft. throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island, NY. The company also is representing a furniture retailer that is seeking spaces of 15,000 sq.ft. and a laundromat chain that is seeking spaces of 10,000 sq.ft. throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island, NY.

Friedman Real Estate Group (248-737-3600) was tapped to represent Hampton Town Centre in Essexville, MI. The center has 100,000 sq.ft. of available space. The company also was retained by Tractor Supply Co. as the exclusive representative in the sale of five former Quality Farm & Fleet locations in MI. The stores are located in Adrian, Kalamazoo, Jackson, Port Huron and Saginaw. In addition, Staples, Inc. retained the company to sublease three former Staples locations in Jackson, Sterling Heights, and Westland, MI. The locations are being closed as part of Staples, Inc.’s plan to close 31 of its underperforming stores in North America.

MJB Real Estate Services Corp. (203-222-6200) was tapped to lease 20,000 sq.ft. of retail space on Post Road in Orange, CT. Starbucks, Trader Joe’s and Raymour & Flanigan are situated in the high-traffic location. Also, the company is leasing 175,000 sq.ft. in Wallingford, CT. Staples and Jo-Ann Fabrics are among the anchor tenants.

Staubach Retail Services’ Portfolio Disposition Group (972-361-5063) was selected by Toys "R" Us to market about 60 properties nationwide consisting of store closings previously announced by the retailer.

ADE Management Corp. (914-949-2800), an affiliate of Aries Deitch & Endelson, Inc., was appointed managing and leasing agent for Brewster Square Shopping Center located on Route 6 in Brewster, NY. The 96% occupied retail and professional center is tenanted by Brewster Pizza, Grand Slam Deli, Galaxy Video, JNR Pharmacy and Over The Rainbow Child Care Center. Glen 6 Associates, Inc. owns the property.

Friedland Realty Inc. (718-231-5700) is representing Allied Domecq, trading as Dunkin’ Donuts, Baskin Robbins and Togos, throughout Bronx, NY. The company is looking for freestanding 2,500 sq.ft. locations with a drive-thru, however, the company will consider locations of 1,200 sq.ft.

Morbitzer Group, Inc. (407-539-1000) was tapped to manage and lease shopping centers totaling 1,053,000 sq.ft. for Casto Investments Ltd. The majority of the centers are located in FL, but the company also will manage one center in Albany, GA; one center in Greenville, MS and one center in Dothan, AL.
