United Realty (631-421-1000) tapped H. Stephen Kirschner as senior director. Kirschner specializes in commercial/industrial sales and national investment properties.

Fameco Real Estate (610-834-8000) hired Gary Leone, who will focus on tenant representation. Previously Leone was a retail real estate consultant with Northwest Atlantic Real Estate Services. The company also hired Jed Masloff as a salesperson. His responsibilities will include owner representation. In addition, the company hired Jennifer Kelly as a salesperson. Her responsibilities will include owner representation. Previously, Kelly was the national recruiting manager for Mobility Technologies, Inc. and HealthAxis, Inc. The company formed Fameco Management Services, a division that will focus exclusively on the shopping center industry providing asset management, property management, and construction and advisory services to owners, lenders and retailers in the tri-state area of DE, NJ and PA. Glenn R. Nunemaker was tapped as director of management services and will lead the new division. Previously, Nunemaker was an asset manager with Provident Mutual Life Insurance Co.

Simon Property Group, Inc. (317-685-7330) promoted Gary Lewis to executive vice president of leasing. Lewis replaces James A. Napoli, who left the company to spend more time with his family. Lewis’ responsibilities will include directing the company’s leasing process to increase revenue and enhance the quality of the company’s mall portfolio and overseeing the management and development of the leasing team. In addition, Bruce Tobin was promoted to senior vice president/director of leasing services. Also, Ed Cronin and Allen Kaplan, senior vice presidents, will assume expanded responsibilities. Cronin will oversee the company’s FL portfolio and Kaplan will direct overall activities of the leasing function for a newly defined and expanded eastern region.

Combined Properties, Inc. (202-736-2813) hired Gregory Hoxworth as president __ West Coast Development. Hoxworth will be responsible for producing and implementing an acquisition strategy for real estate business development on the West Coast. Previously, Hoxworth was executive director of Lewis Retail Centers and a principal at Lowe Enterprises.

Ann Taylor Stores Corp. (212-541-3300) promoted Giovanni Scotti to vice president of real estate. Previously, Scotti was director of real estate for the company. His responsibilities will include spearheading the company’s store expansion plans.

Pier 1 Imports, Inc. (817-878-8000) promoted Rick Blackwelder to senior vice president of real estate. Blackwelder has been with the company since 1972 and served as vice president of real estate and development since 1994.

JDN Realty Corp. (404-262-3252) promoted Frank R. Miller to senior vice president, development finance __ JDN Development Co. Also, Francine J. Glandt was promoted to vice president, director capital markets, and Todd H. Rollins was promoted to vice president, asset management.

MBK Real Estate Ltd. (310-376-0296) appointed Emmett Albergotti as vice president. Albergotti is responsible for acquisitions and major tenant negotiations. Previously, he was senior vice president of Excel Legacy Corp.
