The Staubach Co. (972-361-5063) hired Donald A. Edrington as vice president of the company’s newly formed Denver, CO retail services office. Previously, Edrington was an associate broker with SullivanHayes Brokerage Corp.

TrizecHahn Corp. (212-382-9366) tapped Elizabeth Lanier as senior vice president, general counsel, for Trizec Properties, Inc., a U.S.-based real estate investment trust that will begin operations during May. Lanier succeeds Robert Campbell, who will remain with the company through June to assist with the transition. Previously, Lanier was vice president and chief of staff at Cinergy Corp.

CRIC Capital, LLC (617-303-4400) was formed as a coventure by Corporate Realty Investment Co. and Prudential Real Estate Investors. The new company acquires and net leases single-tenant office, retail, industrial and warehouse properties to investment grade and select below-investment grade companies. The company structures customized 10-year, 15-year, 20-year and longer lease terms for transactions that are $10 million and greater in size.

Finard & Co. (781-273-5555) construction and engineering head, George Khouri, left the company to develop a consulting business dedicated to serving the real estate development community. Khouri spent 23 years overseeing the company’s construction and engineering division. He will be advising the retail, office and industrial community from land purchase through construction.

Edens & Avant (800-662-7212) expanded the staff of its Greenville, SC regional office to accommodate the needs of retailers expanding throughout the upstate SC region. The expansion includes the addition of Meredith Moore as retail leasing representative. Moore joined the company in 1998.

DLC Management Corp. (914-631-3131) has appointed Daniel Taub as partner in the firm.

Mid-America Real Estate Corp.’s (630-954-7300) principal, Stanley Nitzberg, was named 2001 Retail Broker of the Year at the 14th annual Greater Chicago Commercial Real Estate Awards Dinner. Nitzberg was the recipient of this award in 1997 and 1998.

Adams-Nelson & Associates, Inc. (540-667-2424) hired Brian Gill Bayliss as sales associate. Bayliss has more than eight years of development experience working with Fordham University and Shenandoah University.

New Bridge Retail Advisors, Inc. (678-576-5600) was formed by Gary T. Saykaly and W. Van Barron, former managing partners of CB Richard Ellis Inc.’s Southeast/Mid-Atlantic Retail Investment Advisory team, and Lynn Leonard, Jan Annis and Cherie Hubble, also former CB Richard Ellis employees. Based in Alpharetta, GA, the new company will provide asset, capital and transaction solutions to retail asset owners and investors in the southeast and mid-Atlantic regions.

Ray & Berndtson (817-338-8238), a global executive search firm, signed a letter of intent to acquire Rhodes Associates, an executive search and management consulting firm specializing in real estate and financial services. The acquisition will expand the company’s financial service practices in all sectors of real estate, as well as investment banking, fixed income and equity capital markets and investment management.
