Lease Signings


Capital Realty Advisors (561-624-5888) negotiated the following leases at the Plaza 50 Shopping Center located at Highway 50 East in Carson City, NV: three years with Jackson Hewitt Tax Service for 1,100 sq.ft. and four years with Colortyme for 5,560 sq.ft.

NAI Horizon (702-796-8888) negotiated a five-year lease with The Sleep Shop for 1,996 sq.ft. at Raley’s Crossroads located at the intersection of Tropicana and Fort Apache in Las Vegas, NV.

Divaris Real Estate (757-333-4342) signed a lease with Rite Aid for 7,109 sq.ft. in Archway 60 Office Centre located in Richmond, VA. The company also signed a lease with Beauty Empire for 2,082 sq.ft. at 360 West Shopping Center located at 7102 East Hull Street in Richmond, VA. Cotenants include Rite Aid, Auto Zone and Dollar General. The company also signed a lease with Dr. Ed Schwartzberg’s Eye Care Center for 3,643 sq.ft. at the Pike 7 Plaza Shopping Center located on Leesburg Pike in Tysons Corner, VA.

Flocke & Avoyer (619-280-2600) signed a lease with Suddenly Slender for 975 sq.ft. at the Rancho Penasquitos Towne Centre located at 13289-6 Black Mountain Road in San Diego, CA. The lease is for three years and a consideration of $64,935.

Goodman Real Estate Services Group, LLC (216-378-0066) negotiated three leases for Linens ‘n Things in northeast OH, including a 34,776 sq.ft. location in Mentor, a 35,200 sq.ft. store in Bainbridge and a 30,000 sq.ft. store in Cuyahoga Falls. All three locations are slated for a Spring 2003 opening. The company also completed deals with Men’s Wearhouse, Panera Bread and GNC for stores in Avon Commons, a 600,000 sq.ft. center located in Avon, OH. Current anchor tenants include Target, Kohl’s, The Home Depot, Old Navy, Marshalls, Michaels and Cost Plus World Market. The center will be adding a 148,000 sq.ft. Costco and a 57,000 sq.ft. Heinen’s during Spring 2003. The company also completed deals with The Cheesecake Factory, Crate & Barrel, EXPO Design Center, Galyan’s, Talbots, Z Gallerie, California Pizza Kitchen, Brio Tuscan Grille, Stir Crazy, Atria’s Restaurant and Tavern and Giant Eagle for locations in Legacy Village, a 600,000 sq.ft. center located in Lyndhurst, OH.

CB Richard Ellis, Inc. (714-939-2100) negotiated a lease with Beverages & More! for an 11,000 sq.ft. location at Huntington Collection in Huntington Beach, CA. The space formerly was occupied by Anna’s Linens.

Mid-America Asset Management, Inc. (630-954-7300) completed leases at Church Street Plaza located in Evanston, IL for Chili’s and Electronics Boutique. Chili’s secured a 5,800 sq.ft. space, while Electronics Boutique leased 1,845 sq.ft. The company also signed a lease with Petland for 5,022 sq.ft. at Wind Point Center located in Batavia, IL. The company also signed a lease with Borders Books & Music for 18,900 sq.ft. at the ASQ Center located at 111 West Wisconsin Avenue in Milwaukee, WI.

Sigma National, Inc. (804-320-6100) signed a lease with Movie Gallery for 4,200 sq.ft. at Bermuda Crossroads Marketplace in Chester, VA. The company also signed a lease with Little Venice, Inc. for 3,178 sq.ft. at The Glen Eagles Shopping Center in Richmond, VA. The company also signed a lease with Value City for 62,781 sq.ft. at Tuckernuck Square located on West Broad Street in Richmond, VA. The company also signed a lease with Staples for 20,391 sq.ft. at Harrisonburg Crossing located in Harrisonburg, VA.

Sax Realty, Inc. (240-497-1192) signed leases with the following stores: 2,700 sq.ft. with Annapolis Appliance located at the intersection of Route 301 and Route 5 in Waldorf, MD; 5,100 sq.ft. with Mattress Warehouse located at the Route 301 Convenience Center at the intersection of Route 301 and Center Drive in Waldorf, MD; 1,600 sq.ft. to Verizon Wireless and 4,312 sq.ft. to Mattress Warehouse at Eye Care Plaza located at the intersection of Route 235 and Route 4 in Lexington Park, MD. The company also signed a lease with Darden Restaurants, which plans to open a 7,200 sq.ft. Red Lobster in Silver Spring, MD. Red Lobster will join Panera Bread, Borders Books & Music, Macaroni Grille and Whole Foods in the new project.

Windstar Properties (214-526-2700) signed a lease with H.E.S.T. Fitness Products for 4,078 sq.ft. at The Highlands Shopping Center located at 951 West Interstate 20 in Arlington, TX. The company also signed a lease with $1.69 Dry Cleaners for 2,850 sq.ft. at Sturgeon Retail Center located at 7807 South Cooper Street in Arlington, TX.

TKO/Real Estate Advisory Group (609-587-6200) signed a lease with Burlington Coat Factory for three levels totaling 132,000 sq.ft. for the former JCPenney store in the Gallery located at the intersection of 11th and Market Street in Philadelphia, PA.

Garrick-Aug Associates (212-557-9090) signed a lease with Crumpler for 1,000 sq.ft. at 45 Spring Street in New York, NY.
