Lease Signings

Divaris Real Estate (757-333-4342) signed a lease for 4,100 sq.ft. with Panera Bread at Crossways Shopping Center located at 1412 Greenbrier Parkway in Chesapeake, VA. The center is tenanted by T.J. Maxx, Ross ‘Dress for Less’, DSW Shoe Warehouse, Marshalls, Starbucks, Value City Furniture, The Vitamin Shoppe and Dress Barn. The company also signed a lease for 3,200 sq.ft. with Beef O’ Brady’s Family Sports Pub in Cherry Park Plaza located at Cherry Road in Rock Hill, SC. The company also signed a lease for 3,600 sq.ft. with VoiceStream Wireless at the Victory Crossing Shopping Center located on Victory Boulevard in Portsmouth, VA.

Starwood Wasserman (216-373-8314) signed the following leases at The Shops on Lake Avenue, a 334,766 sq.ft. center located in Pasadena, CA: 12,000 sq.ft. to Trader Joe’s; 32,000 sq.ft. to Linens ‘n Things; 6,300 sq.ft. to Coldwater Creek; 4,000 sq.ft. to Talbots Kids and 2,200 sq.ft. to Talbots Woman; 4,000 sq.ft. to The Children’s Place; 2,700 sq.ft. to Corner Bakery; 4,500 sq.ft. to Orvis; 2,600 sq.ft. to Peninsula Luggage; 18,000 sq.ft. to Organized Living; and 1,500 sq.ft. to Shoe Cellar.

Baum Realty Group (312-751-5503) has completed the following leases: 2,400 sq.ft. to Kinko’s and 9,100 sq.ft. to CVS on the Clinton Street side of Metropolitan Place in Chicago, IL. The pharmacy is expected to open during early 2003.

The Woodmont Co. (817-732-4000) completed lease signings for the following seven Dollar Stores throughout TX: a 9,525 sq.ft. store at Ridgmar Town Square located at U.S. Highway 183 in Fort Worth; an 11,819 sq.ft. store at Northlake Shopping Center located at 10233 East Northwest Highway in Dallas; a 25,080 sq.ft. store located at 640 Southwest Wilshire in Burleson; a 10,239 sq.ft. store at Parker Plaza West located at 2109 Parker Road in Plano; a 9,945 sq.ft. store at Buckner Commons Shopping Center located at the intersection of Interstate 30 and Buckner Boulevard in Dallas; an 11,700 sq.ft. store located in space formerly occupied by Athlete’s Foot at the intersection of North Midland Drive and State Loop 250 in Midland; and an 11,859 sq.ft. store located at 200 Looney Street in Brownwood.

Colliers L&A (215-925-4600) signed the following leases: 29,750 sq.ft. to Bally’s Total Fitness at Woodlyn Village located at the intersection of MacDade Boulevard and Fairview Road in Woodlyn, PA; and 4,000 sq.ft. to L’Hexagone, a French wine bar, located at 1718 Samson Street in Philadelphia, PA. Area retailers include Daffy’s, Burberry’s, Borders and Banana Republic.

Sigma National, Inc. (804-320-6100) signed a lease for 1,600 sq.ft. with Bird Watchers at Commonwealth Centre II in Richmond, VA.

CB Richard Ellis (714-939-2217) signed a lease for 12,245 sq.ft. with Denault’s Hardware at Trabuco Hills Center in Mission Viejo, CA. The company’s Tucson office (520-323-5100) signed a lease for 750 sq.ft. with Smoothie Safari & Supplements, a juice bar and vitamin store, at Plaza Escondida located at 7870 North Oracle Road in Tucson, AZ.

Commercial Real Estate Services (757-491-1990) signed the following leases at the Marketplace at Hilltop, a 121,000 sq.ft. center located in Virginia Beach, VA: 1,600 sq.ft. to Elite Tan; 1,600 sq.ft. to David Brian Jewelers, 1,600 sq.ft. to Kathy’s Kids Kids Kids and 1,600 sq.ft. to Ten Thousand Villages. The company also negotiated a ground lease with Wendy’s for approximately 1.18 acres and a ground lease with Chili’s Grill and Bar for approximately 1.4 acres at Red Mill Commons, a 675,000 sq.ft. center anchored by Super Wal*Mart, T.J. Maxx, Michaels and Pier 1 Imports located on Nimmo Parkway in Virginia Beach, VA.

Insignia/ESG (212-984-8073) signed a lease for 1,800 sq.ft. with Subway at 1440 Broadway in New York, NY. The lease was for 15 years with an aggregate value of over $2 million.

Staubach Retail Services (936-639-2976) signed a lease for 13,268 sq.ft. with Tuesday Morning at the Garden Market Shopping Center located at the intersection of 47th Street and Willow Springs Road in Western Springs, IL.

R.J. Waters & Associates, Inc. (610-444-6000) signed a lease for 1,650 sq.ft. with Velvet Touch Nail Salon at the Lakeview Shopping Centre in Royersford, PA. The 191,000 sq.ft. center is anchored by Kohl’s, Marshalls, Giant and Blockbuster Video. Cotenants include Frankford Cleaners, Super Cuts, Commerce Bank, Donato’s Pizza and Physician’s Weight Loss Center.

Flocke & Avoyer Commercial Real Estate (619-280-2600) signed a lease for 1,600 sq.ft. with Popular Cash Express at San Ysidro Village located at 340-418 West San Ysidro Boulevard in San Diego, CA. The lease is for 10 years with a consideration of $363,176. The company also signed a lease for 20,908 sq.ft. with KFC/A&W restaurant at 32nd & Market in San Diego, CA. The lease is for 20 years and a consideration of $1,160,250.

Stiles Retail Group (954-627-9377) signed the following leases: 1,050 sq.ft. with Kim’s Enterprise of Ocala, a dry cleaning service, at Heathbrook Commons located at 5400 Southeast College Road in Ocala, FL and 2,905 sq.ft. with D&D Interiors at Bank of America Plaza at Las Olas City Centre located at the 401 block of Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The company also signed the following five-year leases at Park View Square, located at the intersection of Miramar Parkway and 172nd Avenue in Miramar, FL: 2,100 sq.ft. with ATA Blackbelt Academy, 1,050 sq.ft. with Subway and 1,050 sq.ft. with Club Nails.
