Lease Signings


Sigma National, Inc. (804-320-6100) signed a lease with Movie Gallery for 3,600 sq.ft. at Blue Ridge Plaza in Blue Ridge, VA and for 3,150 sq.ft. at Villa Crossing Shopping Center in Grottoes, VA. The company also leased 5,500 sq.ft. for McAlister’s Deli at The Shops at Bellgrade in Richmond, VA and 2,000 sq.ft. for Accents Unlimited at Commonwealth Centre II in Midlothian, VA. The company also leased 4,000 sq.ft. to Movie Gallery at Amberleigh in Richmond, VA.

Center Trust, Inc. (310-546-4520) signed four leases comprising 60,447 sq.ft. with Barnes & Noble, Michaels, Chili’s and Macaroni Grill at the El Camino Shopping Center located at the intersection of Highway 78 and El Camino Real in Oceanside, CA.

Capital Realty Advisors, Inc. (561-624-5888) negotiated a five-year lease with Louisiana’s Finest Flea Market and Antiques, LLC for 68,337 sq.ft. at the Spring Park Plaza Shopping Center. The site is located at the intersection of South Range Avenue and Interstate 12 West in Denham Springs, LA.

DLC Management Corp. (914-631-3131) leased 1,200 sq.ft. to Place 4 Nails at Tara Crossing in Jonesboro, GA; 50,000 sq.ft. to Christmas Tree Shops at Spring Valley Marketplace in Spring Valley, NY; 12,250 sq.ft. to Discount Depot & Gifts at Takoma Langley Crossroads Center in Takoma Park, MD and 4,420 sq.ft. to Midwest Academy of Tae Kwon Do at Wing Park Shopping Center in Elgin, IL.

Aries Deitch & Endelson (914-949-2800) represented Marty Shoes in a sublease from The Gap stores for 4,615 sq.ft. at 2215 Black Rock Turnpike in Fairfield, CT. The store cotenants with The Gap and Old Navy.

Finard & Co. (781-273-5555) leased two sites to Aspen Dental for 3,200 sq.ft. at Stop & Shop Plaza in Woburn, MA and 4,000 sq.ft. at 1031 Gold Street in Manchester, NH. Both locations will open in the Fall.

Andrew Shedlin Cos. (847-433-3400) leased 3,042 sq.ft. to Total Sport at Security Square Mall. The 1.1 million sq.ft. mall is located in Baltimore, MD and is anchored by Hecht’s, Sears, Burlington Coat Factory, Old Navy, International Furniture and AMC Theatres.

Ross Development Corp. (330-638-8511) leased 10,790 sq.ft. to Dollar Tree at Chantry Square and 12,023 sq.ft. at Tuller Square. Both centers are located in Columbus, OH.

Insignia ESG (212-984-8073) negotiated a 11,000 sq.ft. lease at 8 West 57th Street in New York, NY to Club Monaco on behalf of Solow Management. The store plans to open early next year and currently has five locations in NY.

Flocke & Avoyer Commercial Real Estate (619-280-2600) represented Campus Plaza Shopping Center in the lease of 1,200 sq.ft. to Pets Plus Corp. The center is located at 6165 El Cajon Boulevard in San Diego, CA. The lease is for three years and a consideration of $64,800.

Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (757-497-2113) leased 3,600 sq.ft. to Cash Advance Centers, Inc. at 5103 West Mercury Boulevard in Hampton, VA. The company will cotenant with Advanced Auto Parts.

Garrick-Aug Associates (212-557-9090) leased 1,000 sq.ft. to Papyrus at the intersection of 600 Lexington Avenue and 52nd Street in New York, NY. The term of the lease is for 10 years. The store is located near Caswell-Massey, Bloom Flowers Home Garden, Godiva, Stores at Citicorp Center and Jean Louis David.

Breslin Realty Corp. (516-741-7400) negotiated a long-term, $10 million lease with Washington Mutual, Inc. at the Franklin Plaza Shopping Center located on New Hyde Park Road in Franklin Square, NY.

SAAD & Vallas Realty Group, LLC (251-478-7223) leased 9,600 sq.ft. to Pier 1 Imports on a pad site at a Home Depot-anchored center on Highway 59 in Foley, AL and 17,000 sq.ft. to Pier 1 Imports at the former Just for Feet building at Cordova Mall in Pensacola, AL. The Pensacola location is scheduled to open in March 2003.

WindStar Properties (214-526-2700) represented Jagee Properties in the leasing of 4,280 sq.ft. to Movie Exchange at 3610 Cooper Street in Arlington, TX. The store is expected to open in October.

Winick Realty Group (212-792-2600) represented The Bread Factory Café in the leasing of 1,600 sq.ft. at the intersection of 43rd Street and 9th Avenue in New York, NY. The restaurant specializes in baked goods, sandwiches, soups and pizza.

Levin Management Corp. (908-755-2401) negotiated the following leases: 890 sq.ft. to Special Touch Clearners at Mayfair Shopping Center on Jericho Turnpike in Commack, NY; 24,116 sq.ft. to AJ Wright at Capitol Plaza in Ewing Township, NJ; 5,500 sq.ft. to Wine Country Discount Liquors at St. Georges Crossing located at Interstates 1 and 9 and Route 35 in Woodbridge, NJ; 1,928 sq.ft. to Exit Realty at Union City Plaza, located at 2002-2016 Kennedy Boulevard in Union City, NJ; 2,641 sq.ft. to Quest Diagnostics at Capitol Plaza, located on Route 512 in Bangor, PA; 8,960 sq.ft. to Dollar Tree at Mid-Town Plaza at the intersection of East Main and Vine Streets in Middletown, PA and 14,500 sq.ft. to Rugged Warehouse at Hickory Plaza, located at the intersection of US 70 and SR 321 in Hickory, NC.

Colliers L & A (215-925-4600) completed the following deal with McDonalds Corp.: the sale of 1.3 acre parcel a the intersection of 60th and Woodland Avenue in Philadelphia, PA; a ground lease at the intersection of Germantown Pike and Whitehall Road in East Norriton, PA and a ground lease at the 105,087 sq.ft. Shops at Jenners Village, located at the intersection of Old Baltimore Pike and Route 796 in Penn Township, PA.

Neal Realty & Investments, Inc. (954-568-0530) leased 900 sq.ft. to Peking Restaurant at North Lauderdale Wal*Mart Center at the intersection of Rock Island Road and McNab Road in North Lauderdale, FL. The lease is for 10 years and is valued at $160,497; 6,150 sq.ft. to Inglesia De Jesus Christo at Tanglewood Plaza on Pines Boulevard in Pembroke Pines, FL for $110,826 per year; 4,680 sq.ft. to Goodfellows at University Shoppes at the intersection of University Drive and Inverrary Drive in Lauderhill, FL for $301,392 per year for five years and 2,640 sq.ft. to Beauty Alliance at Cutler Square Shopping Center in Perrine, FL for five years with an aggregate rent of $158,400.

Forbes Co. (561-775-0510) leased space to Z Gallerie, Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie at The Mall at Millenia, located in Orlando, FL. The 1.2 million sq.ft. mall is anchored by Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s and Neiman Marcus and is scheduled to open in October.
