The company is looking for prime freestanding locations in upscale markets located near big box and entertainment centers and multiplex movie theaters. The company also will consider upscale lifestyle centers and downtown locations. Maggie Moos prefers to cotenant with Starbucks, Target, Zany Brainy, Champs, Old Navy and Talbots.

Commercial Properties Development Corp. (225-924-7206) will manage the Punta Gorda Mall in Punta Gorda, FL. The company is seeking a new anchor to occupy the Publix supermarket space.

Coreland Cos. (714-573-7780) is representing three CA retail properties totaling 400,000 sq.ft. The centers include Santa Fe Springs Plaza, a 160,000 sq.ft. center located in Santa Fe Springs; Crenshaw Imperial Center, a 160,000 sq.ft. center located in Inglewood and Margarita Plaza, an 84,424 sq.ft. center located in Huntington Park. The projects are anchored by Food 4 Less and Ralphs.

Hilco Real Estate (847-504-2459) is representing Jacobson’s Department Stores in its bankruptcy sale, which includes 11 fee-owned, three long-term ground leased and nine leased properties in FL, IN, KS, KY, MI and OH. The properties are being sold individually or in groups.

CB Richard Ellis, Inc. (714-939-2100) is representing Beverages & More in its search for locations in Orange County, CA. Beverages & More currently operates 23 locations in CA, including four in Orange County.

ServiceStar Commercial Real Estate (312-543-6632) appointed John O’Connell as the company’s exclusive broker. O’Connell will be acquiring sites for the development company. He will specialize in auto-related uses on a build-to-suit basis and will be seeking two-acre sites in suburban Chicago.

Schuckman Realty, Inc. (516-496-8888) is representing Cold Stone Creamery in its search for 1,200 sq.ft. sites in the New York, NY market. The company is seeking four locations, followed by an additional 50 stores in 2003. Locations initially will be sought in Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk County, NY.
