Lease Signings Welco Realty (914-576-7500) brokered the following leases: 19,000 sq.ft. with Annie Sez/Mandee at Austin Street in Forest Hills, NY; 5,000 sq.ft. with Transworld Music-FYE at Styertowne Shopping Center in Clifton, NJ; 8,000 sq.ft. with Dress Barn at Stop & Shop Shopping Center on Hillside Avenue in New Hyde Park, NY; 35,000 sq.ft. with Furniture King, 18,000 sq.ft. with Rag Shop and 13,000 sq.ft. with Kid City at Seaview Square Shopping Center in Ocean Township, NJ; 2,000 sq.ft. with Horn & Hardart at Meadtown Shopping Center in Kinnelon, NJ; 3,000 sq.ft. with Radio Shack at Journal Square in Jersey City, NJ and 4,000 sq.ft. with Ten Spot at Aviation Plaza in Linden, NJ. Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (757-333-4342) brokered a lease with Cash Advance Centers, Inc. for 3,600 sq.ft. at 5103 West Mercury Boulevard in Hampton, VA. Cushman & Wakefield (212-841-7748) brokered a 10-year lease for 2,300 sq.ft. with Joseph at 816 Madison Avenue in New York, NY. The designer plans to consolidate its two current Madison Avenue locations to the new address. The store is slated to open in November 2003. Staubach Retail Services (972-361-5063) brokered a lease with Shoe Carnival for 12,000 sq.ft. at Dowlen Town Center located at the intersection of Dowlen and Folsom Road in Beaumont, TX. Opening is slated for October. The company also signed a lease with Darden Restaurants for a 1.62-acre parcel at Columbus Park North Shopping Center in Columbus, GA. Darden plans to build an 8,027 sq.ft. Olive Garden at the site. The Andrew Shedlin Cos. (847-433-3400) signed a lease of 2,623 sq.ft. with Fashion Cents at Security Square Mall located in Baltimore, MD.
