Lease Signings

Noddle Development Co. (800-365-1616) signed a lease for 20,215 sq.ft. with Staples at the intersection of 41st and Minnesota in Sioux Falls, SD; 4,500 sq.ft. with Smash Hits Video at Montwood Mall in El Paso, TX; 7,500 sq.ft. with Par Avion at Broadmoor Towne Center North in Colorado Springs, CO and 4,200 sq.ft. with China Garden at First Perry Plaza located in Perry, IA.

Robert K. Futterman & Associates (212-599-3700) brokered a 20-year lease for 20,000 sq.ft. with Modell’s Sporting Goods at 2101 Church Avenue in Brooklyn, NY. The space was formerly occupied by a Kenmore Theater. The landlord is redeveloping the 40,000 sq.ft. theater. Modell’s will occupy space of 4,000 sq.ft. on the first floor and 16,000 sq.ft. on the second floor.

Reisenfeld & Co. (216-765-8080) signed a lease for 1,400 sq.ft. with China Garden restaurant at Great Lakes Bank Plaza located at 29335 Euclid Avenue in Wickliffe, OH.

Sax Realty, Inc. (240-497-1192) signed a lease for 1,535 sq.ft. with Vie de France at the Shoppes at Olney in Olney, MD.

WindStar Properties (214-526-2700) signed a lease for 1,272 sq.ft. with Birds of Paradise, an exotic bird store, at the Shops on Cooper located at 3610 South Cooper Street in Arlington, TX. Opening is slated for September 2003.

Excess Space Disposition, Inc. (516-365-6400) signed the following leases: Sports Authority subleased 41,780 sq.ft. to Amazing Furnishings; Eckerd subleased 8,592 sq.ft. to Pet Supermarket, Inc.; Staples subleased 21,348 sq.ft. to Dunning Farms, LLC and CSK Auto subleased 4,940 sq.ft. to AFT Rentals.

Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (757-497-2113) signed a lease for 54,844 sq.ft. with Hobby Lobby at Matthews Crossroads Shopping Center located at the intersection of Pineville Matthews Road and Independence in Matthews, NC. The property was formerly occupied by Hannaford Brothers supermarkets. Hobby Lobby operates over 300 stores throughout 28 states.

R.J. Brunelli & Co., Inc. (732-721-5800) signed a lease for 3,200 sq.ft. with The Sprint Store at The Commons at Holmdel, a 235,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Route 35 and Laurel Avenue in Holmdel, NJ. Demographics include a trade-area population of 180,000 earning $110,000 as the average household income.

Metro Commercial Real Estate, Inc. (856-222-3013) signed a lease for 33,000 sq.ft. with Brandon Furniture at the King of Prussia Home and Design Center located at 555 Henderson Road in King of Prussia, PA.

CB Richard Ellis, Inc. (602-735-5555) signed a lease for 16,130 sq.ft. with Spencers TV and Appliance at East Thunderbird Square-North Shopping Center located at 14202 North Scottsdale Road in Scottsdale, AZ. Spencers TV and Appliance sells home appliances, electronics, bedroom furniture, cabinets and other related home furnishings.

Jennifer Gray Commercial Realty Services, LLC (817-498-6002) signed a lease for 2,429 sq.ft. with Mrs. B’s Bookstore at Keller Crossing located at 1540 Keller Parkway in Keller, TX.

Insite Commercial Group/TCN Worldwide (248-355-6141) signed the a lease with Cingular Wireless at Grand Blanc Plaza in Grand Blanc, MI and with Scoops Ice Cream and China King at Commerce Park in Commerce Township, MI.

Friedman Real Estate Group, Inc. (248-848-4174) signed a lease with 7,500 sq.ft. with Dress Barn at Edelweiss Shopping Center located at the intersection of Interstate 75 and M-32 in Gaylord, MI. The center is anchored by Wal*Mart Supercenter and is tenanted by Fashion Bug, Sam Goody and Shoe Show.

Sigma National, Inc. (804-320-6100) signed a lease for 3,600 sq.ft. with Movie Gallery at Suburban Plaza in Suffolk, VA. The company also signed a lease for 1,400 sq.ft. with Curves for Women at The Bellcreek Shopping Center located in Mechanicsville, VA.

JBG Rosenfeld Retail (301-657-0700) signed a lease for 55,000 sq.ft. with Linens ‘n Things at the intersection of Routes 123 and 7 in Tysons Corner, VA. The space was formerly occupied by Hechinger. Linens ‘n Things operates 400 stores throughout 45 states and four Canadian provinces.

Finard & Co., LLC (781-273-5555) signed a lease for 32,018 sq.ft. at Commodore Plaza, a center located on Route 1A in Beverly, MA. Tenants include Not Your Average Joe’s restaurant, Cardsmart, River’s Edge Trading Co., New England Running Co., LA Weight Loss, Fantastic Sam’s, DogSpa, Kids Unlimited, Nails & Co., SunBanque and Quizno’s Subs.

Staubach Retail Services (972-361-5063) signed a lease for 11,189 sq.ft. with Shoe Carnival at Westchase Shopping Center located at the intersection of Westheimer and Willcrest in Houston, TX. Shoe Carnival operates 193 stores throughout the Midwest, South and Southeast. The company also signed a lease for 4,000 sq.ft. with The Vitamin Shoppe in Wyndham Plaza located at the intersection of FM 1709 and Nolan Drive in Southlake, TX. The Vitamin Shoppe operates 130 stores.
