Lease Signings


The Woodmont Co. (817-732-4000) signed a lease for 1,413 sq.ft. with The Cash Store at Shady Oaks Plaza Shopping Center located on Highway 67 in Brownwood, TX. Opening is slated for January 2004.

CB Richard Ellis (213-613-3333) signed a lease for 17,608 sq.ft. with Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. at Paperback Plaza located at 1090 East Vista Way in Vista, CA. The five-year lease is valued at $652,376. The company currently operates 2,318 throughout 41 states.

Shary Thur & Associates, Inc. (703-847-0865) signed the following leases: with Travel Network at Riverwalk Plaza in South Charleston, WV; O’Reilly Auto Parts at Troy Marketplace in Troy, AL; Batteries Plus at Fairfax Centre 1 in Fairfax, VA; Super Buffet King at Seminole Mall in Seminole, FL; Tuesday Morning at Shops at Clark’s Pond in South Portland, ME; Real Deals at Marketfair North in Clay, NY; Select Floors and Dollar Tree at Shenandoah Square in Leesburg, VA; Fantastic Sam’s at Ashburn Town Square in Ashburn, VA; Ulta Cosmetics at Best Buy Metro Center in Springfield, VA.

Finard & Co. (781-273-5555) signed a lease for 87,000 sq.ft. with Kohl’s at Saugus Plaza on Route 1 in Burlington, MA. The space was formerly occupied by Ames. The 198,063 sq.ft. center is tenanted by Wild Oats Market, Decathlon Sports, Brooks Pharmacy, Sovereign Bank, KB Toy Works and Dots. The center has spaces available of 4,500 sq.ft. to 9,600 sq.ft.

Sugarland Properties (713-523-7900) signed a lease for 1,400 sq.ft. with Electronics Boutique at Town Center Lakeside, a $70 million, 43-acre mixed-use development located at the intersection of U.S. 59 and Highway 6 in Houston, TX. The center is tenanted by Pei Wei Asian Diner, Camille’s Sidewalk Cafe and Family Christian Bookstore.

Staubach Retail Services (972-361-5063) signed a lease for 10,000 sq.ft. with Tuesday Morning at Blackstone & Barstow Center located at 5380 North Blackstone in Fresno, CA. The company also signed a lease for 15,000 sq.ft. with Stage Stores at Washington Square Shopping Center located at 2011 South Washington Avenue in Kaufman, TX.

NAI Horizon-Las Vegas (702-796-8888) signed a 10-year lease with Goodwill Industries of Southern Nevada, Inc. located at the Cheyenne Marketplace at the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Cheyenne in Las Vegas, NV.

Zell Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc. (602-248-0600) signed the following leases: 1,958 sq.ft. with Noodle Restaurant at Main Street Marketplace located at 1911 West Main Street in Mesa, AZ; 2,800 sq.ft. with 99 Cents Discount Store at 2710 West Southern Avenue in Tempe, AZ; 1,600 sq.ft. with Natural Life Centers at Garden Lakes Plaza located at 10723 West Indian School Road in Avondale, AZ; 5,400 sq.ft. with Rent-A-Center at Show Low Plaza located at 161 East Deuce of Clubs in Show Low, AZ; 2,068 sq.ft. with Checkmate Payday Loans at 5463 East 22nd Street in Tucson, AZ and 2,200 sq.ft. with Sunny’s Discount Beauty Supply at Fiesta Palms 1 Shopping Center located at 2025 South Alma School Road in Mesa, AZ.

Rubenstein Associates, Inc. (212-843-9331) signed a 15-year lease with a five-year option with Burger Heaven at 1534 Third Avenue in New York, NY. Opening is slated for the Fall.

JBG Rosenfeld Retail (301-657-0700) signed leases for 2,800 sq.ft. with Quiznos Subs and 3,500 sq.ft. with Bubbles Coin Laundry at Fredricksburg Park & Shop in Fredericksburg, VA. The 238,000 sq.ft. Giant supermarket-anchored center is located on Route 1 South. Tenants include Frank’s Nursery & Crafts, Blockbuster Video, Virginia ABC, Einstein Bagels, Dollar General, Payless Shoe Source and Rent-A-Center. The company also signed a lease for 4,000 sq.ft. with Video Warehouse at Braemar Village Center located at the intersection of Linton Hall Road and Sudley Manor Drive in Prince William County, VA. The 96,500 sq.ft. center is anchored by Safeway Marketplace. The company also will be responsible for leasing a 50,000 sq.ft. expansion at Babies "R" Us Plaza, anchored by Food Lion, located on Laurel-Bowie Road and the Baltimore/Washington Parkway interchange in South Laurel, MD. The company also signed a lease for 3,500 sq.ft. with Suntrust Bank at 1275 K Street in Bethesda, MD.

WindStar Properties (214-526-2700) signed a lease for 1,022 sq.ft. with Spa Nails at Brandi Place Shopping Center located at Rufe Snow Drive and Meadow Crest in North Richland Hills, TX.

Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC (212-599-3700) signed a five-year lease for 1,000 sq.ft. with Supercuts at 29-31 St. Mark’s Place in the East Village of New York, NY.

Royal Properties (914-237-3403) signed a lease for 10,000 sq.ft. with Duane Reade located near the Saw Mill River Parkway, the New York State Thruway and South Broadway in Yonkers, NY. The company also signed a lease for 9,400 sq.ft. with Pay-Half for 10 years with two, five-year options at the Derby Shop Rite Shopping Center in Derby, CT. Tenants include Shop Rite, Sleepy’s, Just-A-Buck, Petland Discount, Advance Auto, Tommy K’s Video and Angel Tips. The center currently has space available of 1,830 sq.ft. and 8,100 sq.ft.

Insite Commercial Group/TCN Worldwide (248-355-6141) signed a lease with Taco Bell on Maple Road, east of Pontiac Trail, in Walled Lake, MI.

The Goodman Co. (561-804-4021) signed the following four leases in Palm Beach and Broward Counties in FL: 1,204 sq.ft. with A. DiMille, which specializes in Italian men’s wear, and 548 sq.ft. with Viva For Women, a fashion sportswear store, at The Esplenade located on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach; 1,600 sq.ft. with EB Games at The Shoppes of Parkland located at the intersection of Hillsboro Boulevard and State Route 7 in Broward County and 1,800 sq.ft. at Coral Sky Plaza located at the intersection of U.S. 441, north of Southern Boulevard in Royal Palm Beach.

Lamar Cos. (973-285-0660) signed leases for 93,606 sq.ft. with Old Time Pottery and 21,763 sq.ft. with Dollar Tree at Hawthorne 40 Shopping Center located at the intersection of Noland Road and East U.S. Highway 40 in Kansas City, MO. The center currently has spaces available of 2,000 sq.ft., 3,992 sq.ft. and 6,187 sq.ft.

Breslin Realty Development Corp. (516-741-7400) signed leases with Pet Supplies Plus at the following two locations throughout Long Island, NY: a 7,000 sq.ft. store at the King Kullen Shopping Center in Valley Stream and an 8,000 sq.ft. location at Oceanside Plaza in Oceanside.
